So Williams is faster than all the freshman? I'm a little bit surprised by that, but that's why Saban brought him in.
if true thats good, cant ever have enough guys to take the top off the defense. and hes got a bit of height to him at almost 6'2", something none of our recent speedsters have possessed.
we are going to be pretty dangerous on offense this season if any of these newcomers pan out. our oline should be good, our tes should be good, our rbs should be good, and young looks extremely capable. combined with what looks like on paper the best defense we have had since allen, foster, evans were here, im looking forward to next season extremely

Really want Brian branch to get his PT. He is better than Moore imo and I’m not hating on Moore at all.

According to Coach Saban, Bryce Young is doing pretty good with the NIL....

Nick Saban is talking at the Texas HS Coaches Association convention today. He was asked about NIL. Apparently, Bryce Young is doing quite well.

Amazing….and he hasn’t even played a meaningful snap yet.

Props to him and I know the genie is out of the bottle now, but that just doesn’t sit well with me. Not that I have an issue with him taking advantage of it but rather that he’s getting that much money while maybe some other players who have been around longer and contributed more could be getting a mere fraction of that simply because they aren’t playing a glamorous position like QB. I’m still concerned at how this plays out for team dynamics (Not specifically at UA but in general.) This isn’t like the NFL where the new first round QB is making millions but so is the veteran right guard.

Admittedly I’m a curmudgeon on this issue.

There’s going to be a lot of mechanics and regulations theyll have to figure out along the way. I think I’m ultimately glad they did this, but we’ll find out soon how this truly affects the game and what we need to do to preserve its integrity and keep it from spoiling the sport

So you want the University to pay him his market rate instead of paying him the same scholarship they give the third string QB?

What he earns in image rights has nothing to do with what he does for the University.

maybe not but the U of A is giving him the advantage of playing. i wonder if he would be making same money had he taken his talents to Vandy?

I am torn on this issue and I am happy for the players so dont throw me under the bus. They dont seem to have any kind of guidelines out there right now and it is a free for all.

Looks like he’s a sophmore so he’d have a couple years to build success from. good luck of him
