He looks in great shape. He's bigger than most every OT we have had under Saban. But he doesnt look like it.

Damien Harris is easily one of the most underappreciated backs we've had in recent years. Hope he is able to break out in 2021, as the article indicates.

I admittedly wrote him off after his freshman season then he strung together 2 or 3 thousand yard seasons. He’s a great kid who worked hard to improve his craft.

The biggest improvement for Damien was speed. He seems to reshape his body and get a little faster each year. He always had good vision and short space shiftiness and quickness.

Happy for Damien. Legit great person. Buuuuutttt...I'm still not taking him in fantasy unless the rest break their legs. Not that I doubt his abilities or drive. You just never trust a Belichic RB.

Local piece on Slade

quote:

“There’s always going to be another thing you can’t do,” Bolden said. “Most people don’t think I’ll make it to the league. Or most people don’t think I’ll highly contribute to this team. There are a lot of things that still motivate me. They said I’d never play. I did. They said I’d never start. I did. People will always find new ways to cut you down. I’m setting my goals high for this season, and that obviously involves winning another national championship.”
