You don't say, LSU doesn't want to get a matchup with one of the best teams in the country?! Shocking I tell you. Ground breaking analysis right there!
UF plays just like UVA (although nowhere near as good).
UFs style gives LSU fits.

I guess that luck continues considering they haven't lost one game on the road in the SEC. Man that is long time having luck. Eventually some will consider it skill.

You know that, I know that, and I think LSU fans even know that. I thinks thats why they are celebrating so hard for a co-championship.
Or maybe...this is crazy but bear with me, they are excited about it because the team is good this year and hasnt been in awhile.

well maybe LSU will play one of those teams and we will find out.

It really is crazy how upset it makes people that LSU is good at basketball. LSU is not infallible, we get it. What LSU has done this year and under two years with Wade is incredible, though.

They know & U know they beat UT, they know & U know they beat UK & they will celebrate a co-championship because it's been a while since the BB team has been relevant in March. GEAUX TIGERS

Id say at this point there’s a very good shot for UF vs. LSU Part III in the SEC tournament.

LSU has been winning close games. But their defense stats and data says their luck is about to run out.
Via kenpom:
Kentucky's Luck ranking - 66th
LSU's Luck ranking - 57th
So is UK's about to run out as well?

LSU could win 10 straight games on full court buzzer beaters and their fans would be convinced that they could beat the Warriors because nothing outside of the "W" column predicts future performance.

When the “luck” happens for an entire season, it really stops looking like luck, doesn’t it?

Arkansas is 53rd. We about to beat Bama and then make it to the SEC finals and go dancing!

Got no problem with that, would actually love to see it... IMO Fla has become LSU's true rivalry school. Fla is the only school that gives LSU fits in all 3 major sports. Respect to UF & GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

LSU is a good team, but I'm not sure you could blame other teams for thinking UK, UT, etc. are the more dangerous threats.
Obviously LSU will continue to have the chance to show it's a legit contender. Post-season NCAA is great for that very reason - a team with a lot of questions, winning in some weird ways, etc. doesn't have to depend on polls/committees.

LSU needs to figure out how to counter teams trapping or doubling Waters/Smart on the perimeter, because that and constantly switching defenses with weak side help is what UF did to give LSU fits.

I mean, both of you are right. LSU is a team on par with Auburn and MSU. However, they have been finding a way to win games and better realize their potential. That is a credit to LSU, but as a predictor of future results there are reasons to think LSU might not be able to continue to punch above their weight.
Or perhaps, a young team that's still learning to play together as a team gels as the season progresses and starts finishing opponents when they have the chance.

Florida is one of the best defensive teams in the country. Not every team can just do this.

Florida is strong on defense and horrid on offense (71st offensive efficiency) Yet, Florida scored enough for a win and an OT loss vs LSU.

Bama fans actually claimed that their football team would beat NFL teams before 44-16 happened.
