Sirr Parker
quote:
Sirr Parker, who was raised in South Central Los Angeles and graduated with honors from Alain Leroy Locke High School, was abandoned by his mother, who struggled with alcoholism and drug abuse, and raised by his grandparents, and later Parker and his infant brother Donyea stayed with his aunt and uncle.
quote:
Parker was a running back at Texas A&M, where he was known for his speed and playmaking ability. He ran a 4.24 40-yard dash which is still a school record, and held the school vertical leap record of 40.5 inches (later broken by Terrence Murphy).

Hard to choose. Billy Cannons famous touchdown run against Ole Miss is a classic, 1988 Hodson to Fuller against Auburn in the earthquake game, Bluegrass Miracle, and Mauck to Green against UGA in 2003 was the beginning of greatness for LSU football.

Greatest day for me personally was a few weeks ago. 44-16.

Jarvis Moss and the "Cock Block" to preserve our national title hopes.

Not the most impactful...but the greatest individual effort...Condredge Holloway vs Georgia Tech in 1973.
The Artful Dodger
Holloway breaks 7 tackles on the way to the endzone in a 20-14 win.

Cant find the GIF, but up 29-14 in the 4th quarter in 2010 @ the Swamp.
Gamecocks looking for their first ever East title and a trip to Atlanta.
Needed a TD to basically put the nail in the coffin.
Marcus Lattimore with an 11 yard TD to make the score 35-14 and giving us the victory and a trip to Atlanta for the first and only time in our history.

Bo over the top. Kick 6 is close but maybe recency bias. #EmbraceDebate

Greatest play in Bama football history: 2nd and 26
Greatest non-play: Teague's strip of Thomas (it was a momentum killer, but it was called back for an offsides penalty)
Runners-up:
Goal line stand in '79 Sugar Bowl
Drake's Kickoff Return
Griffith's Onside Kick
Screen pass to Yeldon in Death Valley
AJ to Coop in the 2012 SECCG
Langham's Pick 6 in the 1992 SECCG
Rocky Block
Cody-5
Hurts game-winning dash to the endzone in the 2018 SECCG
The Kick
The Kick II
The Run in the Mud
Wrong Way Bo

Belue to Scott. If that play doesn't happen, Gators win and we don't play for, and win, our second National Championship.

Not the single greatest play but the first that comes to mind.
Kimrey told Holtz "I can throw the fade, coach" and Lou put him in and Kimrey won the game with the fade.
Kimrey now coaches at Hammond, a private school in the Columbia area, and both of Coach Muschamp's sons are on his team.
quote:
It’s been 16 years since Erik Kimrey threw his most famous pass, a moment that lives on in Gamecock lore as its own proper noun: The Fade.
Kimrey relieved an injured Phil Petty at quarterback in the fourth quarter and threw one pass, a 25-yard touchdown on fourth down to Jermale Kelly that helped USC to a 23-19 win over No. 25 Mississippi State at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Something I've noticed, nobody really knows or cares about the plays a&m posters are talking about

For LSU it's probably the last second TD that Clemson scored in 2016 to beat Bama...or the Auburn kick 6.

November 9, 2002, Commonwealth Stadium.
The Cats are beating a 16th ranked, Nick Saban coached LSU Tigers. Kentucky up 30-27, LSU has one chance left 74 yards away from the end zone. LSU quarterback Marcus Randall makes a desperation heave as far as he can but Kentucky defenders are able to get to the ball first, leaping and batting it safely to the ground. Cats win! Cats win! Cats win!

TD pass to Skylar Green to beat UGA in 2003
(And the friendly no-call on PI on the ensuing UGA drive. That was before the officials hated LSU)
