This is a non play for me, even if I bet on Auburn games. Auburn could cover the whole game like A&M and then late/backdoor TDs could ruin it. It’s at 11 in some books so I would tease it to 15 or down to 6/6.5. Gus doesn’t care about fancy, just a W.

In my time in the Corps and other branches we were always scared of this exact scenario. Whoever it is a damn fine scout sniper and we can offer nothing but thoughts and prayers to those brave kids putting their lives on the line every Saturday.

Patriots beat writers have written pretty glowing things about him, “he’s the QB of the post TB era”. Kessler could be a short term backup if Tom gets sick or hurt. Stidham is a rookie with the highest expectations from a coach, franchise and position perspective. Give him more than 4 months in the NFL to actually be worthy of a spot for the Patriots. Jets have a good defense too.

Gus talked about Schwartz only having two weeks of practice under his belt, Hastings has been missing a lot of time with his knee and the same for Williams. The WR corps has been so banged up it's really difficult to get any timing together. I think a few deep balls were a result of Bo being juiced from the road atmosphere but at home this week he should get some more in rhythm. I just want us to run the ball more and passing lanes will get easier.

He shows us so much potential and we have so much talent on the roster it’s simply his inability to be consistent and evolve.

The rest of the SEC plays the same difficult in conference schedule except I’d argue it’s harder because of Bama’s success. Each of them manage to schedule tough out of conference. Sure there were a few like USC and FSU but this Duke and Louisville type of shite is trash.

Auburn alone went to Clemson twice, to Kansas State, Clemson neutral, Clemson at home, Oregon, Washington, Washington State, at West Virginia and Penn State home and home upcoming.

I’m not sure Auburns offense can keep the ball long enough to let the defense rest. If Auburn can make enough plays and maintain drives then we win, otherwise the defense tires and A&M wins.

A&M is a good team and I’m not sure either team is that much better than the other collectively.

Leach with Kevin Steele would be interesting but he doesn’t run the ball enough to win in the SEC.

Leach isn’t a cultural fit and would not recruit well in SEC, trying to recruit mama would be a huge fail.

Tulane was a decent team, S&P has them 36th in defense and 60th in offense. That ranking takes into consideration qualify of opposition.
