32. The number is 32.
"Nobody beats Kentucky 32 years in a row."
That is a fact.

As opposed to 2 straight years, not in a row?

Auburn. The only team tested and they won.
I'll allow it. No doubt their level of competition was significantly higher than most.
This is, after all, a waaaay to early re-ranking.

UGA fans forget that Florida was ranked ahead of them in the Final Coaches poll and tied with them in the Final AP poll last year.
But that gap is super wide... right?
Only if you consider 19 points to be "super wide".

Yeah. I mean, you never really wanted him, right? Probably a few more you wouldn't mind seeing leave. Trim the fat...depth and talent are way overrated...

re: Did expansion 2.0 diminish your interest in the SEC overall?

I would prefer the bare minimum to meet the championship game requirement, and one more cross-divisional game. It does seem oversaturated at this point, and takes away from some more traditional rivalries within the conference.
All of that to say: no. I'm still watching just as often and just as much. Just have my "druthers"...

re: What is it about Georgia that makes them get rustled so easily about 1980?
Posted by Hotel Romeo Delta on 2/10/19 at 6:06 am
Rustled? I'm excited.
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder", or so they say. I still remember well the excitement of Walker, separated shoulder and all, pounding Notre Dame into the turf in New Orleans but, that excitement has long since abated.
Keep reminding us. It's rapidly becoming a mantra:
"1980...1980...1980..."
We are feeling it, remembering it, becoming turbo charged by the regenerated excitement. Perhaps Kirby will place a placard above the locker room exit consisting of only four numbers:
"1980"
Own that shite. frick Dooly...frick Goff...frick Donnan...frick Richt, the simple minded piece of shite that he is.
"1980"
Notre Dame comes south again this year.

I'm from Valdosta...Both high schools in the county would beat Valdosta State in any given year. Obvious troll is obvious.
