Very true. He goes for the home run every play instead of going to his check down.

but he was also playing on one ankle.
Who are you kidding with this BS? There wasn't a damn thing wrong with his ankle until his OL stepped on it. He was running around with no issues prior to that. Get out of here with that BS excuse.

Speaking of young Mr Lawrence, I expect he will post some real gawdy numbers next year and will rarely get his hair mussed against that schedule.
The approach to take, and what I think we should have done to protect our DB's , is to play like Mississippi State. Refuse to let them block our pass rush and always send more than they can block.
We lost that game on third down. We handled their ground game well and many times we had them third and medium or long. But we did not get there with 4 and got toasted. The big play is what hurt us. So make him make them with someone in his face.

It's close. Tua has 432 career attempts vs Trevor Lawrence's 398 career attempts.
Trevor has only started 11 games and Tua 15 games.
Sitting Tua has been a hindrance to his development. No longer splitting time with Jalen going forward will be good for him.
The entire off season to rest his knee and ankle will do him well. Most people won't admit it, but Tua lost some velocity on his ball after the Arkansas injury. When he has his legs under him he has way more zip and is more accurate.
The embarrassing loss will humble him and he will be better for it. With all the hype and spot light on Lawrence he should be able to just work on self improvement.

He literally just threw the ball to the other team and then tried to play it off like it was suppose to happen.
Clemson had a good coverage call on that interception and Tua probably thought too much of himself in that situation since he has been very accurate on the long ball

You mean to tell me that when a QB plays a really good defense, his numbers go down?
Be nice if Alabama fans used this same logic for other players.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge he was playing hurt after the first drive of the game?

But it's not an excuse, Alabama beat Georgia yet again. No excuses are necessary.

Tua has some work to do like every young player. I think he failed to work on his deficiencies as much this season more because his receivers were always a class above the competition than any failure of work ethic.
Bama can usually cover this competing with their own defense, but last year they outclassed the Tide corners as well.

I told you all at the beginning of the season, he's throwing to his first read every play. He just looks the other way to throw the safety off.

Are you seriously trying to down someone's 2019 schedule??

3. Tua’s pre-snap reads determine where he goes with the ball. If the defense audibles before the snap, or shows a fake coverage then he is average.
I think this is #1. The announcers picked up on it multiple times during the game, especially after he was baited on the two picks.

He's an accurate passer that can't be trusted with the decisions of where to go with the ball.

Not sure about #1 but I think you hit the head on the nail with 3
This will be his biggest thing to work on this offseason.
He still had a phenomenal year in his first season as a starter, he will get better
