The 5 star recruit and most dominant player in Texas High school history, who they pushed away is about to win the Heisman, and playing in his second CFP game in two years.

No the worst nightmare is definitely blowing a 34 point fourth quarter lead

Not at all.
Kyler, Kyle Allen, Sumlin, et al. feels like another lifetime ago.
We’re in a good place.
I don’t begrudge Kyler the success he’s found; everything happens for a reason.

nah. i've been thinking about this a lot throughout the season, and i think i would still take mond over kyler murray in the sec...and i'm not even a huge mond fan. i don't think there's anyway he would have lasted this season taking the hits he surely would have received behind our o-line.

props to the young man however for realizing the above, and transferring to a league, and team, where his skillset would thrive. i think bama may be the only team in the sec kyler could have played for, and thrived, simply because he would have been given time to make plays. i don't think people understand just how long he has to throw the ball at ou going up against lil 12 defenses. he's going to get murdered by bama.

Your thread is silly. If anything it highlights another reason Summy was not good for our program. I wish Kyler all the success and will be pulling for him against Bama. I wish he was going to play baseball for the Rangers and not the A's though.

There is no way Kyler could have continued at A&M. His teammates on both the football and baseball teams hated him. He came in with an incredibly entitled attitude and along with his father proceeded to act like a douche all year long. He purposely threw a pick in one game b/c he didn't like the play call. He blatantly quit in another. He cursed out our coaching staff on the sideline during a game. He was a true freshman pissed off he wasn't anointed the starting QB from day 1. Then when the dude had the starting gig all but guaranteed with Allen transferring he balked that Sumlin was going to have him "win" the starting job during bowl prep and he refused to show up for practice eventually quitting after a few days of sulking. His teammates were so pissed at the way he acted they took all his shite from his locker and threw it outside the athletic building.

I think y'all should each get to slap Sumlin.

His qb management was disastrous.

Jimbo is a huge upgrade.

Would have never found success here under Sumlin even if he stayed. He did the right thing by transferring. Sumlin massively failed at QB management and development. His first year at Arizona only further confirms that.

In fact, the Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen transfer are probably the main reason that he ultimately got fired down the road.

Good gracious! Good riddance. Typical OKLA player it seems.

You speaking of "Slider" Murray, worlds shortest dwarf?

BTW you certainly don't know much about Texas High School football. Slider was part of a great program at Allen High School but he was just part of the Allen system. Current Allen QB is heading to Ole Miss because that was the best offer he could get.

He is no Oliver Luck, Drew Brees, Y A Tittle, Don Meredith etc....

I thought their worst nightmare is that they are figuring out today that the Gator bowl isn't the Gay-tor Bowl.
