Is it ever acceptable to rush the field unless it’s an upset of a unanimous number 1?

That was so embarrassing by our fans. Have we fallen that far? Even State didn’t rush the field after they beat Auburn who was number two a few years back, and if there’s one program that I would expect to rush the field after beating number two, it would be them.

What does the rant consider appropriate?

Acceptable only after a loss at UF breaks your fan base. I’ll allow it.

Agreed. Bama has never rushed the field. I guess acting like you've been there before is a more important look.

It's fun as long as no one gets hurt. Some people think that it is embarrassing or makes it look "like you haven't been there before", but these people take college football too seriously imo

They certainly should’ve thought more about your feelings before having a good time.

Shame on them.

You're a fan. I could become an Alabama fan tomorrow if I wanted. Don't think you're anything more than a spectator. You've never "been there" so no need to act like you have

I’ve literally been on the field for everytime I’ve had the chance to. From last night to those times a few years ago when we beat Ole Miss and Moo State. And I’ll go every chance I get from here on out.

I’d do it every time we won a game if the crowd had the overwhelming power.

So what I’m trying to say here... is eat my dick.

I don't think there is anything wrong with rushing the field. It's just people having a good time.

It’s acceptable if you’ve lost 11 straight conference games. What did I miss? Did Tennessee rush the field? Looking back over the results from yesterday and for the life of me I don’t see where any winning teams fans would even consider the idea of rushing the field.

Yet you guys clown Clemson for doing it every home game, which is their tradition.

Rushing the field is part of the excitement of being a fan. How to take the fun out of college football is the one football related thing we should never immulate about Bama.

TECHNICALLY we've never rushed the field at Bryant Denny. We've done it a few times at Legion Field (as those used to be where all the big games were played as it was the largest stadium in the state). Most famously after the kick in the 1985 iron bowl, you can see the fans pouring onto the field.

Alabama rushed the field against Auburn in 1990 @ Legion Field. It was the first time Bama had won in 4 years. Stallings first year. I was there. I didn’t rush the field though.

God I hate the almighty fans. Students rushed the field and then they played Mardi Gras music. It was a great time.
