Ask your doc something that takes some effort to learn about, like if they know what the proposed mechanism of action is for how hydroxychloroquine affects viruses, Not if they agree with it, just if they know it. If they don’t know it then they are asleep at the wheel, only reading practice updates and headlines, and not digging deep into the science. (it doesn’t directly affect viruses, but it theoretically allows zinc get into your cells easily and zinc will disrupt viral replication machinery).
On a topic as pertinent as COVID they should know the proposed mechanism of actions for all available tools so they can educate their patients on if they are legitimate treatments or not. Same goes for ivermectin, rimdesivir, and the new Pfizer and Moderna antiviral medications, This doesn’t apply to just covid. I would ask your doc to explain mechanism of actions for all drugs and diseases processes they are diagnosing you with if you are suspicious of their knowledge base. If they can’t give you a detailed explanation then they’re not doctors, they’re just cookbook reading pill pushers. Somewhere along the way medical schools stopped making physician scientists and started making drones. There are few scientists left.

re: MS State Dept Health Says Covid Postive You Must Isolate or Face Fines and/or Jail

I am assuming that if there was a section that provided for penalties you would have quoted it too.
“local health officer shall, on first knowledge or suspicion, conduct an investigation into all the circumstances and prescribe such reasonable methods of control as may be calculated to minimize the danger of further dissemination of the disease process.”
Language seems ambiguous. Looks like he can pretty much do whatever he wants to try and control a disease outbreak

He didn’t make this law. This authority for the state health officer has existed long before covid.

You're just saying stupid shite to hear yourself speak
I’m just relaying what I see every day in the hospital with my own eyes. People from every corner of the state. Making unfortunate decisions in the middle of pandemic. Going to large events, not distancing or wearing masks, not getting the vaccine if they are at risk, and then unfortunately paying for it in multiple ways. It’s just not worth it. Be sensible right now. It will eventually get better. Don’t help make it worse.

Ok you dumb motherf*ckers, here goes.
You should’ve stopped right here. Most of this board has their head too far up their own arse to see the truth, and they still think covid is fake or it’s some kind of conspiracy to make us wear a mask or whatever asinine theory they saw from CrackPotPeter on Bitchute.
Those same idiots clearly don’t work in the hospital. For two weeks now it’s been a mess. ICUs are maxed, step-down floors are managing unstable patients beyond their capabilities. ERs are log-jammed because half the rooms have been taken over by the ICU. And the people that are the quickest to deny there is a problem are too dumb to see the big picture and realize they are the one’s dying from it.
You retards are so worried about the democratics/socialist getting absolute power, the outspoken ones talk all tough about fighting it. All the while the dems don’t have to lift a finger because covid is doing all their dirty work and taking out all the unvaccinated and anti-mask Republicans who still think it’s a great idea to gather in large groups, make poor decisions like going to church when they have the sniffles and think it’s just a cold, hug on everyone, and then find out they have covid and just blasted half the congregation with it.
So covid doesn’t kill everyone. Just a small few. But what about that expensive 5 day hospital stay with a ER visit, radiology read, days worth of lab reads, missed work, long lasting lung, heart and kidney damage that you will undoubtedly pay for in the years to come? There’s a lot people don’t think about with this until it happens. But then it’s too late.
Be smart people, avoid large groups until this wave goes down and if you feel like you might be getting sick just assume it’s covid until proven otherwise and try not to spread it.

Masks are just a placeholder for saying you have no right to make health decisions for yourself
They don’t need a “placeholder.” Laws have already existed for this reason for years. You think the state health officer just lets tuberculosis patients wonder around freely? School districts require immunizations like MMR, pertussis, etc? Hard-hat required to enter a work zone? Fall protection required to be on the roof? Seat belts required in a car? There are tons of laws that restrict our rights to make health decisions. Mask mandates are just another in a long line. Really not that a big deal.

Just stop it. I work in one of the largest hospitals in the southeast. Covid is back. There’s no way around it. Hospital ER waiting rooms are going on 25+ hrs because the bottle neck of finding beds to admit patients to out of the ER and into the hospital. Metropolitan areas are full and now it’s spilling over to community hospitals. This has happened over the last 10-14 days. In early July it was business as usual.
I sincerely hope all you fellow ranters don’t have an accident, or stroke, or heart attack in the next couple of weeks. This will pass like it did in December and January, but it’s very real right now.

im so glad somebody finally pointed this out! If those dang officials would have called a holding call here it would have certainly made up for the arse beating and out coaching we endured during the first 54 minutes of the game.

We lost because we were without the best defensive player in the nation.
Stop. Just stop. This is not why we lost. Did you watch the same game I watched? Their DLine and Oline were more aggressive, their receivers, all of them, were running wide and free all day, and that qb was dropping dimes right in the basket when he needed to. They did all of this with a brand new coaching staff and scheme with limited time to install it and practice. Good for them.
The youth and inexperience of our team showed but that’s on the coaches 100%. Should have been better prepared. Hopefully this is wake up call and we adjust. Other teams replace and reload after losing talent to the NFL and coaching changes. No excuse.

Had Stingley played we would have won period.
This is a stupid take. Their top five receiver numbers were 183, 158, 122, 68, 57 yards. Is Stingley going to get out there and cover five guys at the same time? Coaching staff let everyone down. Leach has been doing this for years and teams do shut him down sometimes. I guess our coaches didn’t bother to watch that film.

This is hard pill for a lot to swallow around here seeing as how football is king in the southeast but another thing to consider and something that goes under appreciated is the prevalence of sickle cell disease in the AA community and how that disease has bad outcomes when combined with COVID.
COVID is a blood clotting disease. This is now known. Sickle cell puts you in a very high risk of clotting for a number of reasons. Add to that getting a little dehydrated from playing football or other sports + minor sickle cell disease + minor underlying COVID and you’ve got a serious problem on your hands.
Just a bad situation all around and too much liability.

Chris Wallace has always been terrible and establishment.
Fox News has also been terrible in general. If you paid attention at the time you will remember them pushing hard for Jeb! And then they pushed for Marco, and pretty much everyone else except for Trump. Hannity was probably the first to get on board, but even he was anti-Trump in the beginning.
Fox News is establishment propaganda just like CNN, NBC, etc. They do juuuuuuuust enough to keep Trump supporters tuned in so they can continue to make money.
