Yes, it was a fumble that Auburn recovered. Auburn would have gained a yard had they ruled it a fumble.
They didn't "look at it" because they can't if the play had been blown dead, which it was.

Besides, Auburn should have been called for PI on the play prior to the one they were called for at the end.

Exactly. Missing/Not calling them in the 1st quarter doesn't mean you shouldn't call them in the 4th.

I mean look- I can understand the guy showing bias towards his school- that's human nature. But that last PI call...I have no idea what he was talking about. Even Gary Danielson pointed out that Dean was grabbing the receiver's arm in stride before the ball arrived....

Stan White is absolutely the worst I've ever heard.
There's a guy on that radio show 102.1 or whatever it is out of Tuscaloosa that is just about as bad, but at least he's not a part of the game broadcast. But Stan White has been insufferable every time I've ever listened.

Stan White said after the 2005 Auburn-LSU game that LSU didn't really win because one of LSU's TDs was a Sklyer Green punt return .

I've always thought the Auburn broadcast staff is a perfect portrayal of the little brother syndrome the entire university/alumni/fans have under BAMA. Just sayin
