Why should there be? There’s been no actual public confirmation as to why Cannizaro was even fired, nor has MSU made any mention of Mullen or Begley. UF has no ties to it publicly (yet)

Can't believe there's be no response or statement or anything at all from UF.

What would UF be responding about. Cannizaro was fired for lying to the AD at MSU. That has nothing to do with UF. For UF to say or do anything would open them up for a huge lawsuit. Rumors of affairs are not stand alone grounds for termination. Nor would an actual affair be, that is the world we live in.

True, but UF is typically pretty proactive. Look what they did to shark fricker. Dude was gone with a quickness and that was a far more complicated situation because they went and brought in law enforcement etc to help investigate his fake threats.

You don't think this created some red flags when news emerged? It's been several days now and this is the school that Scott Stricklin was the AD at previously. I mean, there's only one degree of separation between Cannizaro and UF. Maybe I assume too much but it seems this would be an immediate issue at UF to sort through, to make sure it doesn't end up looking like a bunch of idiots.

Depends on her contract / statement of expectations. Having a cute blonde lady that seems to be riding a bunch of dicks is not going to speak well for credibility. What do you think happens when Begley now calls recruits and families? What are they thinking about UF? Not too many moms want to send their sons off to the land of whores - and when you put one out there on point for your recruiting, that's what they'll be thinking. Perception is reality, unfortunately.

Apparently Tulane knew him much better than we did. Always wondered why they passed on him for their baseball job given he was their alumnus.

If he was sleeping with a student related to prominent boosters, he fricked. I imagine he’ll be selling cars in Metairie before he’s coaching baseball again if he’s as pussyblinded as alleged
IF anything like that happened then you are probably right. RW never got another basketball job and he was a Final Four coach.

So he got them to SR while barely paying attention? Damn. Supposed he had really been involved in game, they might have won Omaha

Last season when he was tweeting selfies of himself in the gym, and the guys on SEC Network were showing those pics and talking to him about them in interviews ... I was kinda weirded out by the whole thing. I’ve always been skeptical of vain guys that spend that much energy on their appearance. It’s not a typical feature in men. I was never really sold on the guy. Never felt sure he was good people.

What did you think about his shoulder pads and 'road warriors' mantra? I watched a few videos of him. He seems woefully immature.

He's a douche. Mullen was too. At least howland isn't.

I think he coached a few seasons of high school basketball (Pearl?) before he hung it up for good.
