Here is some more out of Starkville. I graduated from state in 2009 and still know a few people up there.
The affair with Begley started pretty soon after he arrived in Starkville. It went to shite when he fell in love with her. Players started noticing a change in the fall when all he would do is sit in the dugout and sext her. He became obsessed with her. Coaches have known for months now but this past weekend really brought to light how much it has affected him. That is what led to someone bringing it to light and leaking the info. Cohen warned him about it earlier this year and a coach came to him before this weekend and told him that Cannizaro could not coach in this situation anymore. Cohen actually got someone to time the amount he was on his phone and it was pretty much every time USM was up to bat. Cohen asked him about it after this weekend and Cannizaro lie to his face.
It's also been floating around that he was sleeping with a student at some point and her parents got involved because they are huge boosters and they found out he was using MSU dollars to support his "affair".

Most reports point to players or former players voicing complaints to Cohen. This thing had taken Cannizaro far away from doing his job.

That is stunning. I'm surprised a player didn't have one of his parents get video of Cannizaro in the dugout doing all of this. Assuming Cannizaro is in the coach's box while they're at the plate, then he basically checked out of the game entirely when he didn't have to be on the field. Again, stunning.

He may now be unemployable. Could you even trust him to coach at the high school level? Maybe he'll be an assistant coach in the minors or something, if he's lucky.

If he was sleeping with a student related to prominent boosters, he fricked. I imagine he’ll be selling cars in Metairie before he’s coaching baseball again if he’s as pussyblinded as alleged

So if this started when AC first arrived in StarkVegas, that means it was going on for over a year practically. When did he find the time, with all his HC responsibilities, recruiting, etc. Was the coach who approached Cohen the same one who got in interim job? How did Cohen find out earlier to warn him back then? Lots of rumors about the role former players played; anything to them?

I doubt the money was much better, but she had no guarantee of a job with Moorhead. Moorhead hired the RC from Penn State.
