I'd say overall I'm pretty happy. We have really, really improved our WR group. It's what UF should have at UF. Not this shite the last eight years.

Other areas on offense we got a top ten RB and TE at their respective positions, and same with QB and he seems like a leader.

Defense was awful when Mullen got here. Had very few guys lined up for UF. He ended up getting some really good guys like Dean, Chat, and Langham. This is a good job but I expect a lot better going forward on this side.

No reason to complain. Really solid transition class for Mullen.

Would've liked to have had another DT...losing Brown hurt...other than that, pretty happy...

Would have been had they addressed CB, but they didn't, so it tanked the class a bit overall

With Surtain and Goodrich it's a top 10 class

Without, it's #15

Might as well be.

Not much any of us can do about it; one way, or t'other.

Very.

All the new coaches were put in a tough position. Jimbo rebounded very nicely and gave us one exciting signing day.

We filled a lot of needs and got some OL/RB/TE to help build the new offense. From Sumlin's different spread variations to a more pro style that uses a TE and FB is going to take some time.

The only glaring holes were at LB and CB. We have bodies at CB and a decent front line at LB (only need 2). But that'll only last so long. Time to load up in 2019. Jimbo is on pace to absolutely kill it.

Given the position Jimbo was put in I'm happy, about the only big realistic loss was Waddle. I think he's going to be a beast day one, luckily there are some big time WR's in next years class and we are in great shape with them currently.

I keep seeing this, but two years ago y'all signed Cleveland, Swain, and Hammond who were all top 170 in the 247 composite. I think it has more to do with the QB situation you've had down there.

It’ll do, I guess. There’s certainly room for improvement in furure classes.

I really like Auburn's class. Only big issue is OT where we missed pretty big. Every other need we filled well. The class is going to be really good for depth building. It lacks that true superstar recruit, but the amount of solid 4*'s it has is I think our second most ever. It is a class that should have a lot of solid contributors for many years.

Typical AU class. Happy at what we brought in at QB, RB, WR, DL, LB which seems to be the strength of our team. Our three biggest needs were Safety, OL, and CB.

We did a great job with our safety recruiting and got our top 2 guys and two others that could be safeties.

CB we only signed two and needed to sign 4 IMO. Of the two I think we had to reach for one of those guys so not a good end although we still have decent depth there.

OL, we wanted to sign 5 with 3 being OTs. We got our top OC target and an OG that the staff likes as a project. Did not sign one OT!!!!!! Disastrous OL class.

***This class was the product of an unbalanced staff and it shows with the number of LBs and WRs we signed. Neither position was a huge need but our two best recruiters are our LB coach and WR coach so we end up signing 9 combined WR/LBs. Our other coaches are all 60 year white guys so no surprise we can't fill positions of need.

2018 is a down year for recruiting. 2019 is where Kirby will earn his keep on the trail.

DT seems to be the only position that our coaches will be asked to work magic.

The early returns or coaching players up on the DL looks promising (Clark & Hawkins-Muckle). Hopefully that continues.

Other than DT. Ecstatic. Bama finished 6 with 20 recruits and addressed most needs.

Yes, if it can be followed up in 2019 the way I think it can. Herman is a weirdo with a temper that most people don't like, and should never dominate the top recruits in the state like that again. 2018 closed incredibly strong relative to where we were due to ESD and the coaching change.

We were one of the biggest NSD stories for our late push, and the "momentum" really helps for 2019, which is setting up for a top 5 class. Getting Brian Williams was huge. If we can get Erick Young, Marquez Beason, Theo Wease, Jordan Whittington and Kenyon Green in to the fold quickly, it will go a long way with retaining Grant Gunnell, and making 2019 the best recruiting class in Aggie history.
