I think the loser of the SECCG is out no matter who it is.

Wisconsin has to lose, really Oklahoma does too if Bama loses a game before the playoffs.

Bama beats Auburn and OSU beats Wisconsin. If UGA loses, they know they're out. There's also a bonus if injured TCU has a meltdown against Texas Tech. OU would have to play OSU again.

It all depends on Wisconsin. If they beat Ohio State and finish the season 13-0 or even 12-1, Bama will be out if they fail to win the SEC. You'll have the ACC, Big 12, and Big 10 champions with one or fewer losses. It'll cause the least controversy just to have the four conference champions in the Playoff. If Wisconsin loses to Ohio State, Bama will be in no matter what.

I dont think this is true

For some reason its all gone in reverse. We have the worst SOS of anyone. We dont win the SEC and we are not only losing the no conference title battle but also losing the SOS battle.

It would be reasonable for them to put a 2 loss conference champion over us but they did not do that last year.

Who the frick knows what will happen

The correct answer is it depends. Still too many games to be played.

The odds of Bama not getting in are almost non-existent.

Beat Auburn > Beat UGA = in

Beat Auburn > lose UGA = in

Lose Auburn > Auburn beat UGA = in

**********************************

Lose Auburn > Auburn beat UGA = ????
you are wrong about this being 100% in

Our only problem is this conference is total shite

I know. Otherwise, Bama would have 1 or 2 losses by now.

Depends on where Bama drops. If they lose a close game to auburn and drop to four or five and one of Miami and clemson will lose. I would find it hard to believe a 11-1. Alabama who loses a road game to the number six team (assuming Auburn beats Georgia) would be left out.

UGA plays in a very weak division and their only quality wins of the season are Notre Dame and Miss St.. UGA by and large appears to be nothing more than a pretender.

They also got blown out by Auburn
Not sure you know what "bad loss" means.

Troy is a bad loss.

I can understand Bama getting in despite a loss to either Auburn or Georgia, but I DO NOT get the deal with Clemson.

Clemson has a horrible loss to freaking Syracuse. It's like that didn't even happen. Give me undefeated Wisconsin ahead of them.

Why should you even be concerned about Alabama being in the playoffs?..besides, wouldn't you want to play a team you'd already beaten?

Only if we beat Auburn. Then we’ll likely get in when 12-1 bama is compared with non-12-1 conference champs Wisconsin and Miami

Nah, their QB was injured in the first quarter.

Clemson also has the best SOS and wins of anyone also.

Bama would have one over MSU. VERY tough situation, were it to unfold

This to me is the end for Bama if it unfolds like that. They would be so similar to 2015 OSU at that point. OSU had a great win over Michigan, lost close to MSU, and didn't get in (and they were defending champs at the time). Bama will have MSU and LSU (if both win out) but neither of them are great wins as of now.

As you said, will be interesting

If UGA wins the SEC and Wisky, Clemson and Oklahoma win their conference, I can absolutely see Bama being left out.

EDIT: Clemson wouldn't even have to win out, undefeated Miami would also get in b4 Bama in that scenario
