The odds of Bama not getting in are almost non-existent.

Beat Auburn > Beat UGA = in

Beat Auburn > lose UGA = in

Lose Auburn > Auburn beat UGA = in

Lose to UGA and they don't get in, IMO. That would be a bad loss. If that happens I think Wisky gets in, Clemson gets in, and Miami gets in.

SEC Champ, ACC Champ, Oklahoma (if they win out) and Wisconsin (if they win out) are in.

So no it’s not secured but possible

They would need help if Bama loses to AU.

They'd need some of the following:

Michigan beat tOSU.
TCU win the Big XII.
Clemson losing to USCe, then win the ACC

I've enjoyed the piling on UGA this week as much as anyone but this is retarded. Now losing the last game of the year doesn't do you a lot of favors, but in what world is losing to a 1-loss, top 10 team that won their division a "bad" loss?

Our only problem is this conference is total shite

So if we lose to the Barners we only have ourselves to blame

A horrible SOS and no conference championship puts a 2 loss Ohio State B1G winner in over us for example

But worry not, we about to frick up some Barners

It can get extremely messy at the end of the year.

You could have a 2 loss SEC champ in Auburn, an undefeated Wisconsin, a 1 loss Miami and Clemson or an undefeated Miami and 2 loss Clemson who beat Auburn, a 1 loss Oklahoma, and a 1 loss Alabama. In that situation I don't know if you put Auburn in.

UGA plays in a very weak division and their only quality wins of the season are Notre Dame and Miss St.. UGA by and large appears to be nothing more than a pretender.

They also got blown out by Auburn

The SECC will be the only team from the SEC in the playoff. They only chance of getting two in was if UGA and Bama went into the SECCG undefeated.

how would bama's loss be worse than clemson's loss at that point. also, either clemson is going to have another loss at that point or miami will have a loss.

Bama most certainly has not secured its spot. If they lose to Auburn they could very much be out due to there resume. But of course if enough teams lose too then you never know.

I think so. Florida State being bad is going to kill them. Unless we see 2007 like chaos then who knows.

Bama can only get in with a loss at this point if other teams go down.

Assuming they lose iron bowl, auburn wins SEC, the playoff would be

1. Clemson/Miami
2. Wisconsin/Oklahoma
3. Wisconsin/Oklahoma
4. Auburn

They would need either Oklahoma or Wisconsin to drop a game.

**If Wisconsin loses, Ohio State might be considered more deserving. Same if Oklahoma loses, but it would be Oklahoma people would say is more deserving. Oklahoma would have three very good wins, while Bama would have one over MSU. VERY tough situation, were it to unfold

I think if Alabama beats Auburn, but then loses to Georgia, they are left out. Again, they would need help from Wisconsin or Oklahoma.

So no, I don't think Alabama is guaranteed a spot regardless of what happens. Their best shot would be to win out.

Bama is in if they don't lose by more than a td. More than a td and it might be difficult just bc of fatigue and SEC hatred.
