just because we're responding to OP's melt doesn't mean we're melting. Do you even know how to message board?

You aren't very bright are you? We have had a shite ton of them. Why have so many Louisiana kids struggled to make an impact at LSU? You may find that question to be a dumb one much like your question sir.

Wait, so let me get this straight. All of this complaining from the LSU side about staying in Louisiana equates to less than 2 players per year on average going to Bama? That is what has everybody so upset year in and year out who cheer for LSU. Even with LSU top two recruits being from Tennessee this year? Just off the top my head you have had a ton of out of state top players: Georgia (Alexander), Alabama (Alexander), Texas (Adams), Illinois (Pocic) and Florida (Tolliver) over the last few years. Are you guys sitting in Death Valley thinking these guys are great but I would so much happier if they were from Slidell or Monroe? You do the same thing Alabama does recruiting nationally and well I might add. What is this all about exactly?

They usually end up with the third or fourth best class... in the SEC.

It was actually 4/14 to even be drafted. I think that is at or lower than Bama's average overall.
I think that Saban takes a flyer on one kid at a high school one year to get a star the next. Or he takes a chance on a kid one year (Sims) to land his friend who is a star (Robinson) that same year. Also, he may take a less talented kid in a high school just to establish roots at that school. Bama can afford to plan for the future when your roster is full of All-Americans.

OP has gone full retard

I agree with the op post 100%. I believe early in Saban's career at Alabama he signed marginal players from Louisiana to position himself for other players he wanted in following years. Saban is an a-hole like that, and I'm sure most of the faculty at UA is embarrassed at the winning at any cost that their school reputation has.
I wouldn't urinate on Saban if he was on fire. I don't understand what thrill he gets from coaching a full roster of four and five star players against every team in America. He should never lose a game with that much talent. Thank God each year some better game day coach beats his little five foot nothing arse. frick Saban . He's a miserable a-hole. Go back to West Virginia, Kent St, Michigan St, Browns. Try to win there.

quote:Yes, you have that straight, and it was part of the reason why I made the thread. Saban has signed 14 players from La., and of the 4 players who have made any significant impact, Landon Collins and Cam Robinson are the only 2 players that LSU really did not replace with equal or better players. We should not complain, most leave the state to never be heard from again, except from law enforcement officers, judges and child-support caseworkers.
Wait, so let me get this straight. All of this complaining from the LSU side about staying in Louisiana equates to less than 2 players per year on average going to Bama?

This is where people around here love to grossly exaggerate. "Everybody" does not get upset when a player leaves the state.
But if a few dozen posters on a message board or a few random idiots on social media melt down when a player leaves the state, then somehow we are all losing it.

LSU fans from La. are proud of our culture and want to recruit and retain as many of the most talented students and players from the state to stay at home and represent their home state. We have always welcomed out-of-state students and players to experience one of the most unique cultures in the country. This is what I think separates LSU and bama fans.
Bama fans do not seem to have any pride in their state or culture as it relates to having a football program that is coached and played by people that are actually from the state. This is reflected in a program that is coached and played by mostly outsiders.
How many coaches and players are actually from the state of Al.?
Could you give me a starting line-up of players and coaches that are from the state of Al.?

What is this all about exactly?
The purpose of the thread was twofold:
Obviously I wanted throw a little shade at bama fans who love to bluster and blunder about raiding the state of La. for talent.
I also wanted to remind LSU fans that it really isn't worth it to melt-down every time a kid leaves the state to play at bama or any other school. I sure don't.

Why have so many players from Louisiana struggled to beat Alabama in the annual football game? I mean it's getting progressively harder to find clever ways to incorporate the count of straight loses into LSU. L9U? Come on
Posted on 1/30/17 at 12:55 pm to BlackCloud
All this thread is telling me is that Louisiana talent is overrated and that they can't play football down there. I don't even know why Alabama recruits down there, much less why LSU doesn't look elsewhere to find its talent. Clearly they need to do something different if they want to remain relevant in the SEC.

Take a look at Under Armour if you have the stomach for catching a falling knife. It was down 25percent in pre-market trading after a horrible quarterly report, so I decided to start a position before the bargain hunters came in after the market opened.

Kenny Bell and Denzel Devall were both solid players for Bama. Jury is still out on Hootie Jones although he played quite a bit this year on what was inarguably a very good defense. Likewise for Cam Sims, who has battled injuries. Basically, your post is the mindless babbling of another butt hurt LSU fan.
