Arkansas has to win. By like 2 scores. Its the only way our loss can turn into a win.

Well, Kentucky has never lost to South Alabama. So there's that.

Our loss was much worse than Kentucky's. Southern Miss would kill South Al.

So. Miss is a lot better team than USA but the way we lost was worse.

Both teams are garbage. It's like holding a rotten apple and a pear full of worms and having to decide which one's for lunch.

Right now it appears to be State by a wide margin. By the end of the season, LSU will determine which one was worse (they play USM and USA). If they lose to both or beat USA and lose to USM, I'll stick with State. If they beat USM and lose to USA, then Kentucky losing to USM will be worse, assuming Miles coaches both games and O the Coach hasn't stepped in by the USA game.

Kentucky was not that bad a loss. At the end of the year, you people will realize that Southern Miss is a pretty good team with a really good coach. Our loss was the worse loss for sure. Nothing even can come close in comparison.

Micro - MSU was much worse. It was the worst FPI upset in 5+ years
Macro - the MSU loss probably kept us out of Shreveport on 12/26. Big deal.
I was under the impression that Stoops needed a bowl bid or bust?

If y'all play the rest of the season like you played us I don't think you will have to worry too much about winning. Any word on how your QB is doing after getting dinged up on that sack?

I'm actually going Kentucky here. If your offense averages 8.9 yards per play, which will never happen again, and you still lose and not only lose but by 2 possessions, you're going to have a bad time.
That was the baffling part of that game ... in the end you were like, wtf just happened?

I remember switching over to the Kentucky game at one point just to see them wrap it up, and that's when I saw that they had choked.
I legitimately felt bad for Kentucky fans. We've been there. Hell, just last year. It's a horrible feeling.
I was drunk, so that magnified things. But I don't wish that on anyone. I remember seeing the fans leaving while Kentucky still had a chance. Know that one all too well.
I hope they beat Florida.

I don't think anyone would argue that Southern Miss is a worse team than South Alabama. Everyone is pretty much in agreement with that. What makes the Kentucky loss worse to me is that State has some things that they can point to like key players being out etc that could have definitely impacted the game the other direction. Kentucky didn't have any of that, to my knowledge and if they did then I'll change my answer. OOC games aside, Kentucky won't play another defense that will allow that many yards or points this season, they will have injuries and other bs that every team goes through that will challenge them along the way. This was the absolute best case scenario from a personnel, opponent, and game location standpoint and it wasn't enough to win.

And USM was breaking in a brand new coach/ coaching staff.

UK didn't have its best receiver. But that has absolutely nothing to do with the loss.

Our actual starter is coming back. Im not positive on the freshman from last week, but I dont think hes coming back this week. We might be using the other backup, he had some issue leading up to last weekend. Not sure how that is either tho.
And thank you. But I still want you to win. My second team. And the more you win the better we look.

I thought your week 1 starter did about as well as could be expected. He did a solid job of dumping off to the WRs when we played back.
Do you see more option play with your regular starter or do you think Skip will commit more to the very effective dink and dunk philosophy y'all used against us?
