We don't play in Knoxville until November.

I'm actually going Kentucky here. If your offense averages 8.9 yards per play, which will never happen again, and you still lose and not only lose but by 2 possessions, you're going to have a bad time.

Kentucky looked awesome in the 1st half. That 2nd half though...

you're right.

Thoughtout that week, MS State was anywhere between a 27-31 point favorite while KY was in between 3-7. That makes it pretty easy for me to say MS State's loss was way worse. Especially considering their recent success vs KY's eternal irrelevancy.

State. People actually have expectations for state. Kentucky, not so much.

This. They aren't lofty expectations either. Don't lose to fricking South Alabama is one of them

I say UK only because State was expected to take a step back this year, while this is Stoops' what, third year? Presumably should be on the rise? Nope. Bowl chances shot in first game.

They were both bad losses but it isn't like they didn't have plenty of company. There was a heaping helping of suck to go around for all of us. Maybe not Bama.

For a big week it was the SEC's worst showing since half the conference got motor boated in their bowl games. For Mullen he looks lost without Dak. For Stoops... he's going to need an amazing turn around to keep his job.

So we move on to this week with Arkansas and Tennessee representing the conference in big national games. If we both lose the story going forward for the rest of the season will be Alabama and the 11 little dwarfs.

Here is to both teams going 2-0.

Mizzou, Arkansas, South Carolina and Vandy could have lost to USM last Saturday, not to mention MSU. South Alabama would beat Vandy too.

Most picked MSU for 7th in SECW, so even though it was a horrible loss it's not like a huge shock.

Kentucky loss was somewhat worse, with a 25- as opposed to a 17-point blown lead. But again, nobody expects anything from Kentucky.

Obvious answer is LSU.

Kentucky lost by more points that MSU, so Kentucky obviously had the worse loss.
