Plays like that should be TD and followed by review.

It makes more sense to just beat the team and get them out of the picture.
You’d rather just hand them a championship and prolong the spotlight rather than just go out and eliminate them from play?

Yeah I’d take the certainty of a TD with 18 seconds left.

Herbert is making the entire Bengals team look silly.

Also, I’m pretty sure the lightsaber move where Qmir turned his one lightsaber into two pieces was a move borrowed directly from Jedi Fallen Order. Pretty cool detail.
Yeah that is one of Cal’s upgrades in Fallen Order.

ugh thats only because there were 3 movies that were released before the prequals.
Strictly looking at the movies, and without reading the credits, it isn’t that clear from seeing the Original Trilogy.
He isn’t named Emperor Palpatine in the originals, only “The Emperor.” EU uses his name up until the prequels came out.
The Phantom Menace does more than enough to tell you “He’s the guy.” That Qui Gon Funeral scene basically throws it in your face. And by the time of Attack of the Clones its pretty clear what he’s doing.

kicks Mae's (who has been killing jedi masters) arse and holds her own against the sith lord.
Mae has only killed Indara in a fight. And she didn’t defeat Indara with her combat skills, but by distracting her with threatening a civilian.
A well trained older Padawan should be able to hold his/her own in a duel for a short time. She’s been training since she was a toddler, after all. Obi Wan defeats a full blown Sith apprentice as a Padawan. Anakin has a decently sustained fight against Dooku as one prior to his arm getting cut off. Ahsoka also takes on Maul as a 17 year old…
and Jecki here puts up a good fight but she loses and dies. If Qimir weren’t also distracted by trying to kill Mae, he’d probably have finished her sooner.

I assume it’s Beskar (like the Mandalorian).
The way it shorted out their sabers, it is Cortosis.

Why not just make a sword out of this helmet material? It would make lightsabers obsolete. Dumb.
Its rare. Even in legends you don’t see that many swords with a cortosis alloy. I think you can use it in KOTOR, or its at least referenced there.
Current canon lists one called the “Null Blade.”
Its good against energy weapon attacks but its not the best overall weapon or armor. It is good if you know you are facing off against a lightsaber though.
Not as strong as Beskar, I think it will eventually fail against a lightsaber after taking too many hits.

They also weren't lesbians. You know why? Because you need a penis to enter a vagina to make a fricking kid, so instead of breaking lore and creating force babies, they just enslaved the men on their planet and used them when they needed them. And you know what happened if one of their enslaved men they raped gave them a son? they fed the father to the rancors for not giving the witch a daughter. Again, a feminists dream, and yet no one really had a problem with any of this, b/c if fit in the story being told.
Ya’ll know nowhere in the show did they say all these witches are even lesbians, right?
Since they DO say they were exiled, I assume the witches had no ship or way to leave the planet. Even if they wanted to procreate naturally, they had no way to.

Witches are now the good guys
They are a neutral party in the grand scheme of things. Nightsisters are typically darker, I’d say Mother Talzin was directly against the Sith more often than she was fighting the Jedi during the Clone War era. Didn’t maker her good.
There are some other peaceful witches on Dathomir as well.
And the Acolyte witches aren’t “good guys,” they just exist.
Merrin is great though.

The decision to make them siblings happened during the shooting of Empire Strikes Back. This is well documented. She senses him when he’s in trouble after the battle with Vader so this idea that it didn’t happen until Return is false.
This aspect of the story changing really is not well documented at all. It is widely believed he changed this after Empire.
I know that I have read early versions of Empire named his sister Nellith and Vader wasn’t originally his father. These things were altered, of course. But Luke/Leia and love triangle stuff remained late in the movie process, with the first Hoth kiss staying in the final film. The alternate scene of that is not any better.
Luke mentally calls out to Leia at the end of ESB. She isn’t just sensing him out of the blue. It is not an indication of them being made siblings during Empire.

I skipped from page 61 to here so maybe it was already brought up. I wanted to point out that there WAS foreshadowing of Leia being the sister in ESB, before ROJ. When Luke decides to go save his friends against the advice of Yoda and Obi-wan, Obi-Wan says he's our only hope. Yoda responds "No.... there is another".
That is true they foreshadow a sister. From what I understand, it was not decided Leia would be that sister until later. Which is why they still had that kissing scene between her and Luke.
She became his sister when they were making ROTJ.

She literally says she was on her way to present her father’s request to him in person.
His request is to help the Rebels. I believe both canon and legends continuity, her mission is to retrieve Obi Wan Kenobi. Her ship also happens to also obtain the Death Star plans in both continuities.
And legends is awfully convoluted when it comes to those plans. Because so many video games wanted to tell that story.

So you think the Queen had a chant, created them outside the womb then injected them into the other woman like an incubator? I mean I guess if the show keeps raising the level of retardation.
Yeah, pretty much. Not necessarily by a chant. Could have been a little technology involved with it as well.
All Mother Korgil seems to be for these girls is an incubator. She is not referred to as their mom, and she is not treated like she is their mom. All of that seems to fall on Aniseya.
Their creation is more of a mystery of the show than the murders tbh.

So you think the Queen manifested her own sperm by using the force? Lol sorry for laughing but that’s just no true.
I don’t think that’s what they are saying at all.
Aniseya says she created them. There was no “we created them” between the two witches. She somehow made them, and somehow had Korgil carry them for whatever reason. We really don’t have any info past that.

I honestly agree with you 100%. I said earlier in the thread that it’s a “mystery” show and i have no idea what the mystery is supposed to be because they keep telling us.
At this point the only mystery to me is how they all end up dying.

Here is another thing I don’t understand. This Zabrek woman is the mother of the twins, I mean the real mother as she grew them in her body and birthed them. But yet, they have zero of her Zabrek features. WTF?!?
Crossbred Zabrak don’t have horns. Pretty sure that was the previous legends explanation for the Dathomiri, which are currently just classed as a Zabrak subspecies. I think with Ahsoka’s revelation that the witches are from outside of the galaxy, the crossbred thing could come back into play.
I do not think that is the case here though.
I do not think the Zabrak woman is genetically related to them. She is simply a surrogate. Mother Aniseya says SHE created them. The girls only refer to Aniseya as “Mom.” And the girls use Aniseya as their last name.

Bazil is just a guy. They refer to him as such multiple times later.
He also just looks like a hamster, wears clothes, and doesn’t speak english. It’s not really that deep. He’s not out here yelling about his pronouns.
