Buddy just told me he was going to the only friend he had in high school wedding later this summer.

Got me thinking, I don't think I've talked to a single person I graduated with in high school since my freshman year in College.

And I am completely fine with that. What say the SECOT?

Do you still talk to people you knew in high school?

I graduated in 2007 and I have prolly only seen a handful of them once since. It's amazing that the friends I had throughout Jr. High and High school I never talked to them again after graduation night.

Yeah. I've got a couple buddies I've been friends with since I was 4 or 5 and we hang out whenever we're in the same town. Then I've got this group of 5 or 6 friends that I was tight with in High School and we'll take a trip somewhere every now and then.

I now live 500 miles away, and only still talk to 2, and 1 of them I wasnt really friends with until the summer after graduation. The other has been my best friend since 6th grade. Talk to them both at least weekly.

I will speak if I run across one of them, but no I don't keep in touch. Never went to a reunion either. Graduated in '89.

I graduated high school and there are 3 guys specifically that I still keep up with. We live in 3 different time zones between the 4 of us but if anything, it makes for cool road trips. We all grew up in the same town, school, ball parks, pools, etc. Aside from the random road trips to each other's new homes between thanksgiving and Christmas I will see all of them again.

Outside of that, I don't keep up with anything else in particular but I have run into plenty of people I went to high school with going out in Birmingham.

I've had quite a few close childhood friends that I'll probably never see again. As for high school, I've seen probably five classmates in the last 10 years, and about 3 in the last few. They're scattered all over hell.

We have an annual alumni softball tournament so yes I see everyone at least once a year. Also have a group of buddies that still hang out.

Not like I wish I did. I'm not in regular contact with anybody from my high school and honestly it makes me sad to think about.

almost exclusively.

Just about every good friend I have I've known since high school or earlier. Some of them since elementary school.

Some people may think that's odd, but I mean these are people that I've spent a lot of time with making memories for sometimes going on 20 years now. And we all generally live in teh same area still.

Being a Navy brat, I didn't get this luxury. I don't have any lifelong friends. Hopefully I can keep my son in one place. My friends come in glass bottles or aluminum cans

I'm still close with about 8 of my high school friends, but I also went to college with 4 of those.

I see about 15-20 others fairly regularly. I don't go out of my way to keep in touch with them but enjoy catching up with most of them when I do.

Just one, and we weren't all that close in high school. We bonded more in college, along with another guy that I never even hung out with in high school. He's actually one of my best friends now and I see him every week or two.

I'm 43, graduated in 91, and live in a different town than my high school, and I seem to run into an old high school friend at least once a month. One was at my neighbor's house and saw me cutting the grass and came out and said hey. It's weird. I went almost 20 years without seeing hardly anyone I graduated with, and in the last 5 or so year I've run into at least a dozen I graduated with.

Some, on Facebook.

Only one outside of that, honestly. My best friend for over 30 years.
