Pink Floyd - Legion Field in 94 or 95. Division Bell tour.
Was there it was 94 and top 3 for me as well.
It is really hard to just name one but if only one it would be Pink Floyd.
Pink Floyd legion field 94
Some other favorites:
John Fogerhty in Orange Beach last year was very good. One of my favorites.
Panic NYE at the Fox in 97 was an awesome fun show. 92 Halloween and NYE at the Georgia Theater were raw panic back when they were making their name. But I have a hundred or so to choose from starting at The Nick in Bham 89. And most NYE shows from 92 on to 02ish.
Phish at the Ivory Tusk on a random Wednesday night in 89 was interesting, think it was the first time they played in TTown. Remember Phishman in his superman costume and using a vacuum on the mike. Lol. Got to see them many other times.
Allmam Bros at Red rocks
Grateful Dead in Autzum Stadium summer 90 when I worked in yellowstone.
REM in Auburn
Willy Nelson at a rodeo stadium outside of Yellowtone in some small town was awesome. Saved a few hits from the dead show and hitch hiked to see Willy.
JJ Cale in Telluride
Robert Randolph in the FQ
BBKing on Bealle Street.
A bunch of great music at the Jazz Fest over the years.
Been fortunate to be able to see a lot of great musicians

RATM at the Sloss in Birmingham, 1996.
Pink Floyd at Oakland Coliseum for the Division Bell tour as far as pure spectacle.
Nirvana/Butthole Surfers at Oakland Arena for New Years Eve wasn't the best but it was one I'm glad I went to (he shot himself 4 months later).

I went to June Jam in 90 and 91. Garth Brooks played in 90 and was still relatively unknown. I think it was a few months before If Tomorrow Never Comes hit the charts. It was hot as Hades in 90 and he played pretty early in the afternoon and was climbing all over the stage ropes and shite.
Marty Stuart was my favorite in 91. Pretty sure Travis Tritt played that year as well. Remember it being cloudy and cool most of the day and seeing two fat chicks wrestle in the mud in front of the porto-potties until one took her top off and was escorted out.
They were pretty strict about the no alcohol policy, but we were smoking joints all day both times and never got hassled. Always look back at that thinking how odd that was.

That's hard to narrow it down to just one, or even a few.
Festival style/multiple artists:
1) Forgotten the name of it but it was an all day country show at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1996 lineup was Kenny Chesney, Tracy Byrd, Pam Tillis, Patty Loveless, Charlie Daniels, Hank Jr., Alan Jackson and Alabama.
2) 2001 George Strait tour at Turner Field. Asleep at the Wheel, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Leann Womack, Lonestar, Alan Jackson and King George.
Single artist shows:
1) Vince Gill at the Omni, Atlanta, 1997. The last concert at the venue before it was torn down to build Philips Arena. He played until well after midnight, just song after song after song.
2) George Strait 2010, Philips Arena, had Leann Womack and Reba open for him. Of the 8 times I have seen him, this was the best. One of my top bucket list items is to see him do a show at Frontier Days in Cheyenne.
Honestly, looking back on it now, the Grand Ole Opry last spring was really a great show. Been to the Opry many times, but this was the first show after they had announced the 2015 Hall of Fame inductees, and those still around where there and performed, so we got to see the Oak Ridge Boys and the Browns (their first performance together in 10 years or so) and this was just a few months before cancer got Jim Ed Brown. Also got to see Sturgill Simpson live for the first time, which was really exciting.

Are people really going through and downvoting based on the artists being posted?

I listen to a little of everything. Except rap and hip hop. Dont care much for todays country music. Saw bad company and the damn yankees. That was a pretty good concert too. Ac/dc who made who tour. Angus young had to have been fueled with nuclear power.

Correct answer. Saw him last year in Tulsa. If you haven't seen him your missing out. Will probably go to another this year. Best concert I've been to and it's not even close.
