I hope the local weathermen get fingered by a yeti. Haven't got anything right in 2 months. Weather is looking pretty rough this April so far and the summer is probably going to be bad if we're this hot already. I'm learning to add 5-8 degrees to the temperature and 10-15 mph to the wind forecasts i...

Treat it like a tempo workout, hop back out and try again in a few. You're about where I was seven months ago if that helps any. Those are very similar numbers to my first 15K last September. ...

No shame there. It's been a tough couple of weeks to train in with the heat/wind, rain. Good result and you're so close. You have to be hungry after being right there, maybe find a 10k a month out and give it another go? Then go into the summer training with the knowledge fall racing season is going...

re: tOfficial Running Shoe Thread - BurtReynoldsMustache
Thanks for the heads up. I think I'm going to pick up some turbos for a hundred. Update on the Legend Reacts. I've put a 120 on them and looks like the right shoe is wearing two holes in the upper. One on the side and one on the toe. I stand by the good things I said about them but I might wa...

Thanks man. 766 total this year so far. Starting next week, I'm going to start supplementing my miles with 3 extra 30-40 minute runs. That'll start putting me in the 70s on non race weeks and eventually I'll build up to 9 runs a week into the 80-90 range. I'm not fricking around for this comin...
