Best Concert you have ever attended

Big Show- Mayhem Festival 2008: Slipknot, Disturbed, Underoath, Suicide Silence, and Five Finger Death Punch. Sid from Slipknot broke both of his heels on the first night, and so he would crawl and drag himself around the floor during the tour, it was crazy.


Medium Show- Amo's Southend 2006. It was Underoath, Poison the Well, and As I lay dying. Awesome show, got to jump off the amp on stage and crowd surf. Came home with a black eye and a couple of bruised ribs. So worth it.


Small Show- Some warehouse 2007: Becoming the Archetype, Impending Doom, War of Ages, For Today, and A Plea for Purging. Only like 200 people, the whole place was a giant mosh pit.


Tiny Show- Above a random store 2006: Besides Daniel. Best acoustic band of all time.

"Interstellar Live" in England last year.

I have 3, and there's no way I could pick the best of them. In no particular order...

1. Phish - 10/31/96 at The Omni in Atlanta. 2nd set the did the entire Talking Heads Remain In Light album.

2. Pink Floyd - Legion Field in 94 or 95. Division Bell tour.

3. Sigur Ros - seen them 3 times and was blown away each time. No way I could pick one of the 3 as better than the other.

U2- Zoo TV 3/5/92 @The Omni in Atlanta. 2nd place isn't even close and I've seen a TON of concerts.

The 2010 Widespread Panic Halloween show in Nola, where I dressed as am Auburn fan (with a real mullet and lightning bolt mutton chops), that was going on while Auburn was playing. Everyone kept asking me the score, and I just kept scream "all in, baby" and "yes we cam".

Eventually I got bored and started telling people I was actually a Bama fan. They'd ask, "why are you wearing an auburn shirt?" I'd reply, "why would I have a fricking mullet and mutton chops?"

The men laughed, a couple women tried to slap me. Apparently the word had got around the show about my getup, and random people I hadn't talked to started talking shite.

Easily the best show ever.
