You realize the players you are going up against, which are the most talented ever at OM, didnt play decades ago right? You realize Freeze wasnt our coach over the decades of history y'all like to quote either. If you want to talk about the past, why not discuss the past that is the most relevant, like a team made up of similar players with the same coaching staff?

Have you ever heard of recency bias? It is a bias introduced into the reasoning of fans of teams that historically suck because they think that the outlier of them accidentally butt fricking their way to a win once in a blue moon means they are actually good over time and a threat over time.

Or at least that's what the wikipedia page says it is.

You realize that if Howard comes down with the ball, you would have lost again last season, right? OM fans act like they blew Bama out and are playing at home again this year.

Pretty sure most Bama fans believe it will be a tough game.

Ok. Saban and part of the coaching staff have been been at Bama since 07. Same caliber players year in and year out. 7-1 against OM.

So what would you like to discuss?

Pay that no mind.

Next year, after having lost two in a row to Ole Miss, the same guys will break out the same old stats to justify why Bama will win.

Last year has almost nothing to do with this year.

Games played a decade ago won't factor into Saturday's result either.

So, you wish to pick and choose the parts of history that favor one single entity, in this case OM. By definition history is "the study of past events, particularly in human affairs; the whole series of past events connected with someone or something."

He was the coach the last time Ole Miss played in Tuscaloosa. Can we talk about that or is it not recent enough?

You played so well after your biggest game in your program's history against us that you made it to Atlanta.

To get skullfricked by TCU. What was it again? You lost the last 5 out of 7 last year?

Because if the stock market falls 200 points today, but is up 10,000 points over the last 20 years, you don't assume that today's loss is the new trend going forward, even though it may very well fall again tomorrow.

A&M has been in the SEC for three years and we have as many wins in Tuscaloosa as Ole Miss. So there's that.
