Was landing a small cessna 172 in super windy conditions when a 30/40 kias gust hit the plane weird while I was maybe 500 ft agl, killed my airspeed, if it wasn't for a literal split second reaction to jam the power, pitch down for maybe 65 feet and recover I'm pretty sure I would've died.
wont call it a micro burst but same basic effect.
had to do a go around, didn't come down from that adrenaline high for hours.

The day my 2nd son was born. We had know since 16 weeks that he had major heart defects. The doctors had told us to expect him to go to surgery immediately and his viability was suspect even with surgery. Couple that with my wife having blood pressure problems and I was a wreck. I held it together on the outside, but I was churning on the inside. I threw up 3 times just from nerves.
But, he arrived like a boss with the biggest ball sack the world has ever seen. Made it 9 month until his first open heart surgery. 3 more surgeries later and he's one badass kid who is as normal as he can be. Kid is dominating 1st grade and has 3 girlfriends, but little Marley is his main chick
nice. liked this one.

My ex didn't come home one night after we had a fight (it was two days before we broke up) and while I wasn't in love with her anymore I was seriously worried about her safety since she hadn't called or messaged me in any way.
Turned out she had gone to her mom's for the night, but of course it was one of the main reasons she and I broke up. I had never felt that bad in my entire life.

I'm not bragging about it but I've just never been all that nervous about anything. I've been through a hurricane, blizzard, car wreck, an airplane flight where the wheels wouldn't come down and all the disconcerting aspects of marriage, births and divorce. I like to think of myself as a pragmatist but I could very well be a sociopath.

I have a lot more serious ones, but one time when duck hunting, I made a spectacular long distance. shot and was wading to get it and didn't realize how far out I was. Slipped, went under and my waders filled. When the 40 degree water got in there I became very aware how much a duck wasn't worth it.

Currently I am very nervous that my new pup has distemper. Like sick to my stomach over it.
I'm usually not nervous about much and it has my wife freaked out that I'm concerned because I'm usually the rock on things like this.

Mine. I was laid up in an alder thicket on a Kodiak deer hunt. Big fricking brown bear came walking down the trail right towards me. I saw him, but I knew he didn't know I was there. At about 50 yards, I had to make the descision to announce my presence. Thankfully, he turned and went the other way. I later burned those pair of shorts.

I fell in the water hunting last season. It was. 19 degrees outside
I hunted after it for 45 minutes waders full of water. I had icicles hanging off my hair
Cold just never bothered me much, hell I wear short sleeves in 30 degree weather

my wife having a hard time birthing my first born. I'm in the dental field, so I knew enough to be dangerous and I knew it wasn't going well.
And there wasn't a thing I could do about it except be nervous and feel utterly helpless.

Now, having learned from this experience, you lock the door on the bitch, pour a tall cold one and say, "Free, thank God Almighty I am free at last."

The first time I went in the ultrasound room with my wife and they were checking the head and spinal column for abnormalities... Longest 4 minutes of my life.

Waiting for the results of an MRI back over the summer. They were scanning to see if I had lesions related to potential Multiple Sclerosis. Thankfully it came back negative.

Last night was up there:
I was pumping gas at a closed gas station (pumps stay on) in a decent part of town. Two guys cut a u-turn and pulled up in a minivan and one jumped out and started briskly walking toward me and yelled, "Hey, let me ask you a question!" I yelled, "No-get back!" and reached into my car. At that point he was about 6 feet from me. He started yelling, "He's an undercover cop!" ran and jumped back in the van, and they peeled out of the gas station.
I'm not a police officer, and I left my pistol in my truck. All I had was a pocket knife. I've dealt with hundreds of vagrants and others asking for gas money. This was not that.

When my high school girlfriend was "late". I was a month shy of my 16th birthday and was already making my funeral arrangements.
