It's a white world here in the U.S. I can't imagine many whites who truly feel like foreigners or a minority in this country.
And it'll be this way unless or until the racial mix changes and whites become a minority. For example, if Hispanics really surpass whites in terms of population and cultural influence, the privileges, such as they are, will have a more Hispanic look and feel.
Just accept the fact that the times they are a-changin'—always have been, always will. Don't sweat it, just get on with your life and you and yours will be fine.

I was born in NOLA in 1953, lived there until 1962. For the first few years we had no A/C--instead, Mom and Dad cooled me off with swigs of ice cold Jax.
