Collegiate baseball just doesn't get the same passionate following that college football and basketball do, despite Major League Baseball's widespread popularity.
MLB is miles ahead in terms of talent but personally I still prefer the college atmosphere. What about you????

College, fewer games and used to be way more offense. Maybe it'll come back somewhat with the new ball.

What year are you posting from? 1958? One of your home state MLB teams garnered a 0.0 television rating

Is this a serious question? MLB is miles ahead. Of course LSU and Mississippi fans will pick college because their states can't afford a glorious MLB squad.

This except switch State for LSU and a couple innings to zero.
I just can't get in to MLB. It seems so stale to me.

It's still the country's second favorite sport. 14% I believe

I enjoy MLB but I would have to say I do enjoy college baseball more.
Being in the SEC definitely helps. We have the best fans, facilities, and overall talent in the country.
I really hope that the SEC Network is going to put much more SEC baseball on tv. Not just the weekend series either, I am talking good midweek matchups like tonites between LSU-Tulane and other non-conference matchups.

College & minor league (which are just about the same). Smaller parks, get to sit closer, cheaper, fans more into it, better hecklers.
Got to hand it to MLB for being much better players, but the trade off in cost and atmosphere is not worth it. I do catch a few Rays games each year because (as you can imagine) they're pretty cheap.
Don't want you guys to think it's all about the money, cause I'm doing a baseball road trip in August, going to Yankees and Red Sox among others. It'll be worth it to say I've been there once.

Yes... MLB is miles ahead. But I can't stand it. Season is too long and way too many games. I prefer watching college ball, although I wish they would do something to make sure the offense picks back up soon.

I like college baseball but MLB has it beat

MLB.
I just can't get used to the scale of college as compared to the MLB.
And it's funny to see people like a retired Bobby Cox get rustled

I don't care for baseball in general, but I am more likely to follow a collegiate baseball season than a major league baseball season because the college baseball season is much more compact.
