Who's the main competition?
Notre Dame, Bama, UW, and potentially Oklahoma. UGA is tentatively considered the frontrunner right now though

Sorry I can't post links. Jackson is a 6'4 PG out of Athens Christian. He is ranked #49 in the nation by 247. He committed to UCONN earlier this year, but the hometown team has been in his ear for sometime now. Rosemond and Jackson know each other from AAU so that hire has helped tremendously.
He is still committed to the defending champs, but UGA will be a player here. Numbers are going to be tight though because we're vying for 5 top 100 players with maybe 3 scholarships. Things are about to get interesting

ND and Bama's recent QB commits could help, no?

Yeah I would think so. ND's scheme also isn't a great fit. Same with Washington.

It's finished. I read something about it being finally fixed a couple of weeks ago.
As to Fox, I want to see him do well and I'll support him. I think he knows now what he needs to do to get the team where it needs to be and I think he showed vast improvement in coaching last year. But I don't trust him yet. He still has a lot to prove to show Georgia basketball is sustainable.
As to quarterback intelligence, we should be ok. Our system is more intellectual, sure, but in the grand scale of things, there has been some QBs of questionable intelligence recently winning heismans. They managed to learn how to not turn it over. None of our QBs are that dumb and I doubt we'd take QBs we didn't think we could coach up to the level we need them at.

he's not gonna threaten Bauta
I just don't Bauta as being a starter. Ever...unless injuries force it.

Fox is the anti-Felton. CDF could actually recruit pretty solid but couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. Fox is a pretty decent coach now (wasn't really a few years ago, lots of things that pissed me off) he just doesn't have the recruiting and talent to compete at a super high level yet. If he could start bringing in a few more high profile guys we could be really, really good.

I disagree
Hard work and dedication with his talent should translate on the field. If he wins the battle he should start.

They were done with the inside stuff. They have ben working on the falling glass panels almost all summer. They were still working on it when I was there last week.

Trent Thompson named USC (the real one) as #2 behind UGA. That's good for us

Basketball: Hearing Giddens to the bucks. I was really hoping we would land a quality big man this class. This still could end up being a really good class though.
