If one turns into a high-level BCS QB prospect as a senior, then maybe, but they won't just offer some random guy. That would be a waste

I agree with you. there is no way that the coaches wouldn't want to take a QB this year without being fairly confident in either Ramsey, Bauta, or he new freshmen ( which they really haven't had much time to evaluate.)

By contrast look at Bama's QB roster: they have taken a large number, and still felt the need to go push for a transfer to have a competent QB come in this year, after having years to set up the next guy..SMH.

I trust in the coaches as well, dudes, but they aren't gods, ya know? I just have an iffy feeling about Ramsey.

Taking Sonic McChubb is not? Dawgs are strategically playing Eason & y'all develop QBs the same as Georgia Tech develops wide receivers

Yeah I think not taking a qb is more to attract Eason, than having confidence in Ramsey. even if you bring a QB in this year, he's not gonna threaten Bauta or Ramsey to start in 2015.

How is that a waste? You always take elite players. If Josh Rosen decided he wanted to come to UGA, they would take him. He won't though.

I have to laugh at this because how the hell could you possibly have any idea. He hasn't played in a meaningful game in almost a year and a half.

Who is the better QB.., a 5th year Mason or Brice Ramsey any day of the week?

Right now, Mason is the better QB. That doesn't mean Ramsey won't be good a year from now.

People really underestimated Ramsey's adjustment from HS. He played in a wing-t. He's been exposed to advanced offensive concepts for like 12 months

I need to stop bullshittin again & get to the point... How much does UGA QB play affect its running game?

I get all that, but I have always loved how Richt describes recruiting QBs...he says there are a lot of good QB prospects every year, but the thing you cant predict is how they will handle the spotlight of starting for the University of Georgia. I don't think Brice will be good in that aspect. I hope I'm wrong, though.

ETA: obviously paraphrasing
