It’s an option.
Why I am so proud of beating this game is I played on survival mode. So no gps. No way points. You just had a vague map of the region and roads annd have to navigate old school style. And the map was huge.

I thought it was great.
I seem to be in the minority but I really really think this is the best thing I’ve seen this year.

There’s one scene in which a bad guy, Jessie Plemons, has a meltdown and acts evil towards people he doesn’t consider Americans. In this world where the Texas/California alliance are hinted at being the good guys. And the east coast is “America” and a dictatorship.

I think we so often look at war torn places of the world and see these images and think “that couldn’t happen here. We aren’t barbaric like that”

That’s the entire point. He did spare expenses. The park was always cutting costs. Across the board. The movie doesn’t go into it as much as the book does but it’s there. That whole discussion with Nedry about Hammond not paying nedry what he though he is owed ...
