"NM will not be playing Saturday. Will be back for TAMU"

Also said earlier today he has been hearing that JJ will play Saturday.
He has been right more times than not, but I'm still taking the wait and see approach

I hope he is wrong. If JJ plays this week and burns his RS, then there is more damage than we know to NM.

Not surprising.
I'm OK with this, it's not like we need Nick Marshall this weekend. Let Jeremy Johnson strap up the cleats and pads, lead the offense to a win, and gain valuable experience.

If the coaches have any doubts about NMs leg going forward I say play JJ this week and get him prepared for TAMU UGA and BAMA

And, honestly, Texas A&M and Georgia don't have strong defenses this year. Alabama, sure, but the other two don't. I don't think it's unrealistic to predict some success by Jeremy Johnson.

Gus just got down saying that he expects NM to play and would be very surprised if he didn't

If NM is only 95% I agree with resting him this Sat. I don't know about using JJ redshirt. what about Wallace

He needs to play. He needs some serious practice with his passing game in a game setting.

IF, and I say IF, we are going to pull JJ's shirt. Now is the time to do it
He could play this week and get some experience. Then we could sub him in during the next games against Florida Atl, Vols and Pigs.

It is the best time, but I fear Marshall is done for good as our QB if that happens. Mainly because JJ is the better passer of the two and I don't see Marshall beating him out again.

Latest Malzahn Interview and discusses Nick, JJ, Wallace
will make decision probably tomorrow or Friday on how he's doing and what the plan is. Nick is getting better. "matter of fact quite a bit better.”
Not sure who would start between JJ and Wallace if Nick can't go.

I'm over RS skill players. If they are as good as most people believe, they'll be gone after their RSSO year. Just look at TAMU. Did that RS benefit JFF?
What about Moreno?
Just the first two that came to mind.
