Without the power run element, Malzahn's offense isn't nearly as effective. His biggest home run threats are off of play action passes and fake dive end arounds.
Fair enough. The second part wasn't actually trolling. I thought his offense was more of a deception, speed style as UF's was with power attached.

I've seen you make this point before, and I don't know if you are right or not, but I never noticed a problem with O's subbing and D's not being allowed to on a large scale basis. Is there a particular game you recall this being a problem?
I'm not saying it hasn't happened, as I am sure that it has every now and then, but I never noticed a consistent issue with the refs not allowing a D to sub.

t's where I got the list from actually. it's a SMALL PART of the offense. So you are not a power run based team. Thanks for playing but I stand by my statement that you aren't one.
funny you left out this part that preceded the list you gave

Malzahn’s offense is premised on a 2-back run and play-action team
sounds an awful lot like power run o

I get that you don't know it. You haven't seen it. In 2011, we ran 43 times and only ran 59 plays. That was obviously not the standard Gus HUNH offense. UF hasn't played AU since the Tubs days.

When I hear power run I think of LSU, Stanford, Bama, our new offense if you can call it an offense. I remember the Cam offense more than the 2011-2012 offense and I thought that was almost exactly like our 2007 offense. So when I heard power run I thought wtf?

He adds that in too, it's just not his base offense. The majority of his offense isn't a gimmick though, it's smash mouth football ran at an elevated pace. His "deception" plays are usually just misdirection plays.
ETA: Cam could do one hell of a fake, then hold the ball behind his back. Fooled me every time, camera would follow the RB and jerk back really fast onto Cam. That is deception I suppose .

What you think is irrelevant. The fact is Gus runs a lot of power. DWI

We've established this. I admitted being confused on his offense and thinking it was more like ours under Mullen.

And Saban was scared as hell all season they were going to hurt someone on the other team.

I disagree, but whatever.
Had Auburn never hired Malzahn in 2009 they would hate the HUNH just like every other pro style team. Auburn's history is a smash mouth, defensive type system and now they think the program's against this offense are idiots. Funny how 4 years erases 110 years of tradition from their memory bank. Now I could not care less if teams want to run it, but AU fans really need to stop acting like those against it are less than human.

If Alabama had hired Gus Malzahn in 2009, their fanbase would love the HUNH offense!

No you are just like 90% of the Auburn fans on this site. Your opinion is the only thing that matters and everyone else is a moron. It's the Auburn way.

The funny thing is. I'm a Gator fan. I grew up during Spurrier. I have no issues with any style of offense that scores as many points as possible. I just took the video of Les I posted and used his argument for the laughs.
I have to adjust to this Muschamp style. It's not awful, but I'm used to scoring 50 points on teams. Spurrier and Meyer are responsible for all but 5 years of my Gator fandom, and I love offense because of them. Now I have to cheer loudly for just a first down and a great punt .
Still. Love Muschamp. Just spice it up a little please.

I'm not ok with people trying to make everyone play the scheme they prefer or that their favorite team currently prefers.
It would be similar to me wanting everyone to have to snap the ball within 5 seconds of it being spotted or be penalized.
