I think it all kind of depends on how LSU's offense looks this year. If they continue to look like shite on that side of the ball, lose 2 or 3 regular season games, and watch Bama or aTm play in the SECCG, I think Les' days may be numbered. If they look competent, win the West, and possibly play for a NC, he obviously buys himself a lot of good will and time.
The only two things that I see getting Richt fired by UGA are being caught Petrinoing a coed or a couple of back to back losing seasons.

Is Les Miles the least respected coach in SEC history to have won 80% of his games over 8 years with 2 SEC Championships, 1 national title, 4 top 5 finishes, and another national championship game appearance?
It seems to boggle the mind of some that the man has not been fired yet. And, to make matters worse, he just brought in another top 5 recruiting class and will likely bring in another one next year.
I still laugh at how much the SEC hates Les Miles.

Les Miles cause he's won an NC and should've had another 2 years ago.

Probably Miles.
Not that he's necessarily better coach, but he has more talent and for some reason, LSU fans are not as pissed about 8-9 win seasons as UGA fans are. Maybe b/c they have won a national championship so recently.

Well, when you think of "last man standing" you think of who will have more success will last the longest, in this case it's not necessarily true.
Miles will have more success, just because he's such a wildcard.
On the other hand Richt will last longer. Unless he has back to back to back losing seasons the man will retire when he wants.

Les Miles is an awesome coach when he has the talent to bail him out of dumb calls. When he doesn't (such as last year) you have coaching decisions that piss away a couple of games needlessly.

Yeah those two years out of Miles' 8 year tenure sucked bad

Miles. Ritch is 2 NC game appearances and 1 crystal ball behind Les.

Seems like they've both hit a wall at their respective schools. Mark Richt has lost control and Les Miles is Les Miles
Auburn fans and most Alabama fans (and the OP in the linked thread, a State fan) are no longer allowed to comment on or start threads like these. If you need the reason why, go look at this thread.

Safe to say, Auburn fans don't really know how to evaluate coaches.

That national championship, one of those SEC championships, and three of those Top 5 finishes were done with Saban's players.
