Both UGA and LSU have not won a BCS bowl in the last 5 years. In the SEC at a major program its unacceptable.
Both had back to back sub par seasons late in their tenure. Miles went 3-5 in the SEC in 08, and 09 was not much better with the mud bowl loss to PSU. In 2010 with a sugar Bowl birth on the line they were mercy kneed by Arky and Petrino. No one will ever forget the 2011 season ending. 21-0 for all the marbles.
Richt is a pretty mediocre coach, and UGA has never had any major sustained success. UGA is what it is at this point. A good, but not quite good enough.

So out of NINE YEARS, you've successfully identified a few isolated issues for a guy that has won 80% of his games, multiple SEC titles, national title and another appearance, several 10+ win seasons, and several top 5 recruiting classes.
Yeah, you're credible.

"Aint nobody got time for that"
I was part of the great dawgrant migration that yall seem so fond of. I was dr.mantistoboggan for a brief moment before I realized someone else basically had the same name.

Um, he never was in control. See the start of each season....
How many players are suspended.

My guess is the gus bus will be long gone off the plains before either Miles or Richt are gone from their respective schools.

Anyone who thinks Miles or Richt has anything to worry about as of right now is delusional. Tell me this, who would LSU or UGA go get right now that would be better than either of those guys?
I do have my doubts about Richt's ability to ever win a national title, but he was pretty close this year, and he has been pretty damn good on a consistent basis.

so we'll give saban's first title at bama to shula.
we'll give urban's first title at UF to zook.
we'll give auburn's title to tubberville.
we'll give miami's last title to whoever was there before coker.
who did I leave out?

With all the suspensions and injuries LSU had last year the simple fact that they had the lead on bama with 1:00 left on the clock is amazing.

LSU was about those same six yards from playing the dawgs with the BCSNCG on the line.

No, if I remember correctly nick that big sob of a DT was at auburn for two years actually. Didn't do squat his first season.

I don't know if LSU would have had as easy a time putting points up against Notre Dame. If Mettenberger played like he did against Bama it wouldn't have been a big deal, but if he played like he did in a lot of other games it might have still been kinda close.

The only time Mett struggled was when the o-line struggled. Against bad d-lines he did fine. See Bama, Miss State, and Ark.

If anyone could win at LSU, could you please enlighten us LSU fans what the frick happened in the 1990's in BR?
In five seasons at LSU saban had one season with two or fewer losses. In no stretch of the imagination saban inherited more talent in BR than at the capstone.
In eight seasons at LSU Miles has five seasons with two or fewer losses and I expect the same for the forseeable future.
Treading water? Miles is 34-6 in his last three seasons. If that's treading water then their are a lot of schools that have drowned out there.

There was ONE THING DIFFERENT about the bama game for LSU than anyother game of the season. Do you think you can figure it out?
OK I'll give you a hint.
It was the only game where Mett and the LSU "O" had more than a week to prepare for it's opponent.
Would we have played the irish the second saturday in December?
LSU's defense would have been just as successful as bama's.

LSU was pathetic all year outside of the Bama game. They scored 12 pts against an Auburn team that was 0-8 in the SEC.
Notre Dame likely pushes LSUs shite in leaving the whole fricking conference embarrassed.
You do realize you lost to a UF team that ran the ball 25 straight times without attempting a pass, a Dabo Swinney coached team, thoroughly out played by ole miss, struggled to beat Arky and Towson. LSU fa ns are delusional as shite.
