It's pretty common sentiment that these are the two best teams.

Let them play again, and If BAMA wins it's a split.

I do understand why Tigah fans don't want a rematch. It's a lose-lose situation for them.

But the BCS was created to play #1 vs #2.

Let them play.

Had LSU beaten Bama in Baton Rouge, I would agree with you. LSU beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. If that isn't the end all, be all, I'm not sure that college football fans can continue to pimp the regular season as something special.

I'd think most "Tigah fans" feel like we didn't necessarily bring our "A-game" and still beat Bama in T-Town.

Nothing is a given, but I'd bet most of us would be more confident in a rematch in New Orleans. It's one reason Les said he'd enjoy playing Bama again.

I want to see Ok State's offense against LSU's defense more than I want Bama to play them again.

Why do so many people want this to happen. Bama lost already. Why would you want a rematch? Put two different teams together to spice it up......

Bama lost.......get over it.......

and, if bama wins a close one like lsu did the controversy will never end. it would be 1-1 w/o a rubber match. of course, the same would be true of oregon. having to beat a team twice to win the nc is bull shite.

And what does that prove?

Been there, done that. They'll get another shot next year.

Probably the same people that bitch about not having a playoff system. There was a playoff this year, and LSU beat two of the other teams involved.

Don't knowwhat the big deal with a rematch. First game both teams know what is at stake, second game they will be playing for something different. Similar to Auburn last year. They went undefeated and beat USC during regular season, then they had to risk all that in Atlanta against a three or four loss team for the SEC title. They took care of business and moved on.

We beat Georgia twice in 03. Difference btw UGA then, SC last year, and Bama this year? Two of those teams won their division.

You hit the nail on the head. LSU will be risking it all in Atlanta (assuming they beat Arkansas), while Bama isn't risking anything.

Arkansas-LSU will be a pretty accurate preview of LSU-Ok State (assuming LSU and Oklahoma St win out and meet in NC). Ok St and Arkansas have a lot of similarities.
