Of course we knew this already, but I thought this map was interesting.

Iowa is the outlier. A bunch of big cornfed white boys.

Speak for yourself.

AR and MO do not add value.

Are you suggesting that states where large cotton plantations once were, have a decided advantage ? I'd hadn't considered that.

Clever tBrand....very clever.

And now only the northern schools are benefiting from it.

See Indiana and Ohio State.

This map could be another bit of ammo relative to which states comprise the true Deep South:

Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
Georgia

A high black population, a heavy cultural emphasis on high school and college football, and a climate generally better suited for outdoor activities throughout the year.

It’s no mystery.

This was discussed some time ago, when some Utrans fan said that football was built around the state of Texas California and Florida. Louisiana, The sip, Bama and Jawga produce a massive amount of NFL talent, especially when you consider the states populations

So I guess Wyoming and Texas are close to the same at producing NFL talent?

This is the dumbest stat ever.
