Saying this after quitting on your team and forcing your school into a spot where they have to promote your son is hilarious.

Also, Cardwell and Broome and that final four team he went out with seemed pretty loyal to me.

As always, Bruce is a clown

Went to the Final 4 last year and quit on his team before the beginning of the season to run for political office while getting his son hired as his replacement.

Go frick yourself cocksucker. Sounds like he would be a great politician spewing all that bullshite

The difference between LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn:

I kind of hope LSU finds some basketball success with Wade. I don't want them to ever beat or surpass Bama, of course, but otherwise I think it's better for the conference when they're good.

Tennessee can suck ten million dicks and they probably will, but their basketball program doesn't enrage me. I hope they lose every game they play, but when they do win I don't particularly care or notice.

I hope Auburn's basketball program dissolves into a puddle of piss-flavored vomit and its fans are forced to gather it up into cups and drink it. If they somehow managed to lose more games than they actually played it wouldn't be enough.

Hubert Davis was absolutely fired. What a dumbass thing to say, Bruce.

I have no clue what he is talking about.

Surely he isn't talking about Aden.

Bruce was 65 years old when he stepped down. Retirement age for many working people. He put in 10 years at Auburn. Coaching at that level is highly stressful.

That was the only way he could ensure that Auburn didn't have time to do a coaching search and had to hire from within.

It's a new era, if you're at a blue blood like a UNC and you dont win a tournament game for 2 seasons in a row, missed the tournament one year in the past 4 years and best you did was S16 in that last 4 year span (as a 1 seed getting bounced early); they probably wont care you made the national title game 5 years back (in fact, they didnt). What that looks like is Hubert Davis has been unable to navigate the NIL era effectively to UNC.

With the absurd coaching contracts and obscene amount of money schools/donors are putting up for putting together rosters, especially at blue bloods; you have to deliver results and do it on a fairly consistent basis. You drop off for multiple years yeah they probably will see the tens of millions of dollars they feel like have been "Wasted" into you and your teams for alack of results.

This isnt the 80s, 90s, 00s any more where you get time and development. People expect results and they expect them based on the money being put into it.

Its hard to feel bad for any coach when they are getting paid what they are these days. Davis is leaving with an extra $5.3M on top of the like $17M-$18M he got paid the last 4 years to underachieve in their eyes.

Matt McMahon never made the tournament here, got ~$18.5M between his buyout and last 4 years earnings here to absolutely suck. Again, really hard to feel bad for them.
