“That Guy is a certified dumbass” Heard a funny story about Golding over the holidays

Met a guy at a family Christmas party who was from the Hammond area and in tune with all the local scuttlebutt. We started talking LSU football and he has a buddy who grew up with Golding (Lived in same neighborhood, played football together, drinking buddies, etc.) and had a pretty funny story.
He said that Pete is an awesome guy and would give you the shirt off his back but literally has 0 common sense and constantly gets himself in trouble because of it. One example he gave was his buddy was back in Ponchatoula the same time Pete was and Pete called him at like 9pm asking if he wanted a nightcap so they guy went over there and drank some beers. Next thing he knows Pete is like “Hey I have a shite ton of trash that I need to dump at the dumpster, can you please give me a ride to this random office building so I can put in their dumpster”… long story short while their pulling the trash bags out the truck a cop pulls up and puts them both in handcuffs.. nothing ever came of it and the cop let them go but apparently these are the kind of situations Pete always finds himself in. I thought it was a kind of funny story.

It’s a very benign story but happened like 4-5 years ago and underlines the kind of situations Pete finds himself in. “How the frick am I in handcuffs for helping the DC of Alabama illegally dump trash” is the thought running through the guys head. Pretty funny.

I love this but Pete beat GA!
You were on the road with Chambliss only starting his 2nd game. Kid is WAY better now. Even he said the noise in the 4th qtr got to him and then UGA prevailed. Barely. But, go ahead and think none of that benefited Pete last week lol. Chambliss won you that game...not Pete my friend.
