I have a gripe about the Mississippi State game tonight….

Bear with me. I realize State fans root against us vs anyone. Including Hitler. The feeling is mutual. However at the end of the game with Wake Forest tonight the Wake fans started mocking State with SEC chants.
My answer to this is “seriously you pack of pussies?” We had a home and home series set up with these pusscakes. Went to their place and won 40-6. Should’ve been worse. We sat on the ball the second half. Their coach whined about NIL and they canceled their trip to Ole Miss this year. They owed us a home game. But acted like they were cheated. USC also cancelled their series with us. Tells you all you need to know about these other conferences.

Wait what? We got paid off while they backed out. Same with USC when we were supposed to play them this year? I assume you’re talking about before Texas joined the conference.

Lebby has MSU headed in the right direction. They were far and away the best 5-8 team in the conference. Possibly all of college football.

They tried to claim it was because of joining the conference, but the game was scheduled to take place before that

I couldn't believe I was watching a 5-7 team in a Bowl. Not even a .500 team, if they won they would still have a losing record. Fuct.

The SEC is 2-7 in bowl games that don't include playing against each other. The jeers are only going to get louder. Sankey needs to figure something out. Dont know what he can possibly do but bowl season is another bad look.

Mississippi state shouldn't have even been in the game. They were 5-7. some puss arse team, probably from their conference opted out and our boys at state had to carry the flag. Good on state and frick every acc team. frick Danny kanell also. Fsu didn't belong in the final or they would have got throttled like they did against uga.

I didn't watch the game but that's bullshite. I'd make the same claim as you did. They tucked tail and ran when they were supposed to show in Oxford.
Furthermore, State had a lot of SEC teams butts puckered this season on close games. They're not garbage.

Because 5 SEC teams made it to the playoffs, and then rest of the SEC is left filling in bowl assignments while having the 7th and 8th best teams playing the top teams of the other conferences.
Teams played ranked teams while being no where near ranked themselves for example. And then even while the SEC teams had numerous optouts, they still had close games.
Missouri(8-4) and somewhere around the 9th best SEC team played #19 and #2 in the ACC Virginia, lost by 6.
LSU(7-5) is 10th best SEC team played #21 Houston(4th in Big12) and lost by 3. With opt outs and interim coach.
Tennessee(9th in SEC) and Illinois(8th in Big10) were somewhat close, but Tennessee had opt outs, 2 point loss.
Texas(5th) and Michigan(5th), Texas won.
Iowa 6th best Big10 vs 7th Vandy, Vandy loses by 7. Vandy was ranked higher however.
Miss St doesn't even have a winning record and played a team with a 9-4 record.
They are bowl games and they don't mean much.

That's weak shite. Mizzou should have beaten ant non-playoff Big Ten team, just like Vandeshould have. The SEC needs to collectively get better, not make excuses.

OM fans coming to State's defense is possibly the most heartwarming storyline of this shitty upside down CFB season. "I can call my brother retarded all day, but the second you do I'll punch you in the face" sort of vibes.
This season will unfortunately be the moment we look back on as the beginning of the end of the non-playoff bowl games. I hate it and so does every CFB fan that isn't a bandwagoner, but this bowl season has been absolutely pathetic

The return game was supposed to happen in 2020, and the conference move was announced in 2021.
Critical thinking is probably pretty hard for retarded people but give it a try anyway.
