This year's Ole Miss team will have Golding in all the records books. If they win the natty, Golding will get the credit. In 5 years, normies will not remember Kiffin was part of the team.

and honestly that is just flat out stupid. Sorry, I dislike LSU as much as anyone on here. Argue with their fans about everything from Tarps to officiating, but Ole Miss fans/admins are acting like spoiled children here. Kiffin built that program, gave them life and a pulse, and then when he takes another job (that he was forced to decide on), the fans decide he did nothing for them.

frick off with that. As a Carolina fan, id love to have us get built up. Id be pissed at my admin if they didn't let that coach be there for the playoffs, and I certainly wouldn't be treating said coach with this level of disrespect. Yall were on the same level as SC, MSU, UK before Kiffin

If your coach left a playoff team to go to Clemson you definitely would feel the same way and you are just lying to yourself if you believe otherwise.

I agree with OP.

If I am Golding, right now I am working on Weiss to get him to stick with Ole Miss as OC. Boy, if they won the Natty and then that happened, Lane might throw a yoga matt across the room.

Golding would be the fastest HC to a NC, a record that would never be broken.

Kiffin literally orchestrated everything up until he was hired by LSU. What a disgrace to dump him after this. Just saying.

Both will, this is ridiculous. Similar to that 1989 Michigan team

remembered for what? A semifinal playoff game? No one but Ole miss will give two shits about it 2 or 3 months from now.

In 5 years no one will even remember Ole Miss made the playoff, much less who the coach was. Golding will be fired and back to being someone's DC or an analyst.

They would have to pay LSU more for Weiss than LSU had to pay for Kiffin and they would have to buyout the OC the hired.

Simple, right?

LSU-OM is not Carolina-Clemson. That is a wild comparison.

Yes, Pete will be on the lips of every NFL and college team in the nation.

And then you know what comes next?
