Knocked us out of playoffs. Team didn’t play well, but that’s one of the worst coaching jobs I’ve seen in a long time. Also, DeBoer teams don’t play 4 quarters. Frustrating.

That's been a recurring theme for the past two seasons.

Lacking Cuevas hurts

Big issue today felt that it was going to be a tight defensive game. The punt made it two scores, so we started panic throwing. Georgia was efficient enough on a few drives to churn a win out.

Outside of the turnover on downs to make it 28, it basically ends up 21-7 outside of garbage time.

Hell it was a big deal for our offense to even make a 3 yard gain!

Outside of some penalties, we don’t even get 7.

This staff got outcoached most of the year. We would go quarters without scoring and would make zero adjustments. The playcalling was abysmal.

We can blame injuries but it’s on coaching.

Maybe we should have let DeBoer take the Penn State job. He’s not cut out for Alabama. Kirby and his staff stuffed him in a locker today. Assuming that we get left out of the playoff CKD is going to be on a major hot seat entering 2026.

No excuse for the play of the offense the last part of this season.

He's 2-1 against Kirby

Stop melting, good lord. They outplayed us today, it happens. This isn't god tier Saban anymore

Exactly. These people are insane if they think there's another coach in America who's going to walk in here and win every single game.

Nobody is asking him to win every game. We are asking him to make a 12 team playoff. We asking him to have the team prepared, make adjustments, and get better as the season progresses. We are asking him not to get blown out in critical games. We’re asking him to make changes with the offensive coaching staff after a year of historically low performances.

If that’s too much to ask then we shouldn’t be paying him $11 million.

I’m disappointed in him right now and this off-season needs to be approached with urgency to fix some things and we don’t need to be hesitant about opening our checkbooks and poaching from other teams, they’d do it to us in a heartbeat.

But people need to accept that while excellence should always be the standard, period, mic drop, Saban’s process and resume and, especially, his personal way of doing things including his sideline demeanor can’t be the standard anymore. Because he is gone and that is gone.

Worst performance since maybe Dubose or Fran with one foot out the door. At least Shula handicapped teams fought and fell apart in 4th quarter due to lack of depth.

DeBoer is maybe better than most but not good enough for Bama

We get annihilated in second half ever since DeBoer got here.

Under Coach Saban we played murder ball in the 4th quarter, and could make adjustments at the half.

His teams didn’t play a whole lot of 4 quarter games at Washington either

That’s just how his teams are

Stop using Saban as the standard. He and his process and ways of doing things are gone and never coming back.

DeBoer needs to put the pedal to the metal for four quarters, win the second half and do a better job of adjusting because it’s good football, not because Saban did it.

Yep, soft.

His team just got dismantled in all three phases of the game.

I’m talking about the whole season as a general philosophy, a-hole, not just tonight.

I figured Deboer would be told 'make staff changes' at the end of the year. But the more I think about it, I doubt they do. Next year is going to be Deboer final year to prove what he has. If he isn't smart enough to figure out Grubb needs to go, they will probably just be shown the door at the same time
