Legitimately, what happened?

The coaches didn’t forget how to coach, the players didn’t forget how to play, so what happened?

The only thing I can figure out is Ty is secretly injured and for whatever reason they keep trotting him out there.

Germie Bernard deserved better than this.

Rat poison, read the press clippings, started thinking he had to make great plays instead of the easy ones.

Ty is the same QB he was against South Florida in 2023. That little spark he had earlier in the season was an anomaly.

Ty could only hit that dig route and struggled down field all season.

Once teams took that away without a running game. It was consistent the whole second half.

Ty is just limited with his accuracy

It’s a trend under DeBoer. His teams don’t have a killer instinct and don’t handle prosperity well. It’s the antithesis of “MTAQ.”

After two seasons, we can clearly see that trend in games and over the course of a season.

Saban left DeBoer some extra shitty qb's. DeBoer is at fault for not giving his qb's the opportunity to fix the problem.

If he's been injured for half the season and they haven't developed Mack or Russell enough to play better than what we've seen for weeks, that's coaching malpractice. I understand maybe not forcing KR in as a true freshman...but Mack has been in DeBoer's offense for 3 years...and can't do better than Ty???

I still don't trust the S&C program. Moffitt should have replaced Cochran and I'll die on that hill.

Ty just ultimately isn't it.

He has talent and like Bear Bryant says, when a player works his arse off and plays his A game, he can hit above his weight, but for a championship, he's gonna have to get HOT and stay hot.

It's good to step back and remember, we still haven't Alabama with a Kalen QB yet. He still needs to find his next Michael Penix and we'll roll.

Mizzou showed that pressuring the QB was the best way to defend us. We out talented them enough to pull out the win. After that, SC showed it even more, but they Beamered that game to us. OU won by forcing mistakes and AU held us to 120 something passing. The blueprint is there to make our O pedestrian.

This coaching staff relies on offense.

Instead of hitting the portal and getting a worthy QB like Kiffin does every year, they decided to do the feel-good thing and give it to the "team guys" like Milroe and Ty. It's cost us 2 fricking seasons.

We'll never win anything with DeBoer unless we have a first round draft pick at QB. Period.

It really makes Saban's Tua call that much more ballsy. We'd seen what he could do but it was just in garbage time. Same as our current backups.

Just feels like it may have made it worse. Mabye he was hoping to keep it as close as possible for the playoffs.

Maybe he did I'm not 100% behind that but as a coach you attempt to mitigate that. You know what you have. You don't have a rcv who has a hands problem returning kicks, you don't leave your ol on an island and not call screens, quick passes. Those things went away as the season progressed and we progressively got worse.

Yep, throw in Ryan Williams' sophomore slump.... and this entire offense is basically on the back of Bernard and Horton or we're cooked.

You didnt see regression, you saw a few games of an undertalented offense playing over their head. This is the real offense. FSU...was the real offense. Take away Cuevas...and have our best Olineman at 50% and two average RBs...and this is what you get

Ty has horribly regressed. Earlier in the year he was putting the ball in the tiniest holes consistently. Tonight he couldn't hit Daniel Hill in the hands when he was 7 yards away in the flat wide open. Pitiful, pitiful performance.

Limited snaps you can't expect them to see the field at that speed.

Plus you ride the horse that got you there.

The limited practice time in college combined with every game being close. We really don't have a second QB ready
