How did bama fans feel in 2017 when two conf champ game losers fell out of playoffs?

In 2017, Auburn and Wisconsin were both firmly in the playoffs in the rankings going into their respective champ game. They both lost and the committee penalized both of them for losing and allowed another team who sat at home and didn’t play at all to leap from them

That schedule was brutal. In 4 weeks we played Georgia, then Alabama and then Georgia again in the SECCG.

Crazy stuff that year. Auburn getting trounced in the SECCG and Wisconsin only losing the BIG 10 game. I thought Ohio State should have got the last spot myself for having the best wins resume and for being a conference champion which Bama wasnt.

Auburn was the best team in the SEC that year. Such BS. Our losses were against Clemson, fluke LSU loss after being up by 20. Smacked Georgia 41–17 then lose 28-7. Smacked Alabama no playoff.

Getting smacked by GA like that in the final game was a bad look when only 4 teams get in. Bama shouldn't have went over conference champ Ohio State imo looking at the full resumes.
