Sure would be a shame if the NCAA adopted NFL style hashmarks. But nice hire imo.

Did the Barn hire him because he kept the score close against Alabama in 23 while at South Florida?

Solid, considering what he's done with Byrum Brown, should be a great fit for Deuce Knight.

Curious if they keep Durkin, always find it weird to handcuff a new HC to assistants though.

We struggled against his team twice.

Of course they hired him.

The entire basis for the hire, in reality lol. But the arse-backward logic somehow ended up in them getting a good coach. Better than Sumrall, I'll bet.

I'd be disappointed if I was an Auburn fan. I think he'll give us fits (of course) but he'll be a perennial 8 win coach.

With that being said... "South Florida Harsin".

That sucks. Probably the best hire they could have realistically made. Dealing with that bullshite Heupel offense twice a season is going to be a pain.

That's a damn good hire.

If he keeps Durkin they're going to be a solid program.

Yeah, fAU is going to be a serious pain in the arse with him as coach. Great hire for them.

The defense will take a significant step back. You can’t run that hurry up style and have an elite defense. You just expose your defense too much. South Florida has been one of the worst TOP teams in Golesh’s tenure.

You’ll get some quick scores but you’ll also get some quick three and outs.

Honestly if I’m Durkin I’m not thrilled for a complimentary football perspective. He will come out of this appearing to be a lesser DC than he is right now.

Auburn is a perennial eight win team so it’s a good match

Really good hire. Better than I thought they’d get. Arkansas and Ole Miss looks like out in the cold. Ole Miss may end up promoting Golding.

Had no clue Kodi Burns was USF's Co-OC.

The prodigal son returns?

Good news: We don’t have to play a USF team led by Golesh next year!

Bad news: We had to play an fAU team led by Golesh next year!
