Most delusional SEC fan base in the coaching search cycle?

Props to Auburn for running a very quiet and confident search assuring the announcement is forthcoming but making no claims as to how big a game changer this hire is going to be.
Props to Ole Miss for getting some respect publicly even if everyone believes privately that you have zero shot at holding on to Kiffin.
Most delusional fan bases in order:
LSU
FL
AR
Doesn’t really matter the order because it’s a 3-way tie.
LSU has the governor involved, fired a coach but didn’t and wants to renege on a contact and has insulted the most powerful agent in football but thinks everything is fine. They are claiming to be offering Saban 100mil but can seem to be able to come up with a 54mil buyout. All the while having Saban with an offer they also claim to have an offer to Kiffin. But these two facts seem to not matter evidently.
Florida has Lane Kiffin having already agreed to be their coach and is currently telling recruits to stay with Florida and all the while is still doing his job at Ole Miss and also recruiting for Ole Miss. All this despite no formal agreement.
Arkansas is suggesting they have the white whale and have a 40mil NIL now. They are beating the drums loudly and getting ready for the Red Sea to part and ready for the promised land all of the sudden. Walmart is on board and Tyson and everybody. Christmas came early.
Whatcha got?

There is no situation where the answer isn’t unequivocally LSU any time the word “delusional” is involved.
Our fan base is generally insane

It has to be lsu no one comes close
“We fired him for cause! He’s happy to take half his buyout and thankful!”
“Saban wants to come back”

That’s ridiculous. That a great many LSU fans think they will get Saban easily qualifies them as most delusional.

Meh, I don’t think this is too unusual.
Hope universally springs eternal for all fans in the offseason … and when searching for a new coach.

Fans are doing this? Really?
I was under the impression that all the rumors about this, that or the other was started by pundits wanting clickbait.
Maybe I was wrong and it truly is the fans that are instigating all of this.

LSU will always be the most delusional fanbase no matter the situation.

It's funny to see how fast our fanbase turns at the slightest turn of adversity. Even during the course of a game itself. Some people need to get a grip.

It's about time we started lying to recruits.

LSU
UF
UM
All 3 have Lane Kiffin derangement syndrome.
LSU fans - We are the greatest program in the country, anyone we want will beg to come to BR
UF fans - Lane loves UF and Steve Spurrier, his wife's family connections will be enough to lure him away from Oxford.
Ole Miss fans - He would never leave Oxford, his son plays high school football there. Ole Miss is a better job than UF or LSU (this reminds me of State fans that said Mullen would never leave Starkville!!!)

This is my favorite one!
Nick is 74 years old and net worth is $200 million dollars. Why wouldn't he want to move to the bayou and deal with rational expectations in the land of corn dogs?

Mississippi hasn’t even started their coaching search yet.
Just wait a while.

I would suggest OleMiss for thinking Lane wants to actually stay there.

The media is saying that.
Rebs about to be cucked when Lane bolts and all those other jobs have been filled already.

Agreed but this does not apply to LSU fans. They are a very special case.

NOPE
You jumped on the band wagon long before you needed to.
Hugh should have remained coach at least through the Alabama game.
It was just a stupid as Florida firing Billy before the Georgia game.
Auburn belongs on that list as sure as an over abundance of TP is now on sale at Toomer's Corner.

No other acceptable answer other than LSU considering Florida and Auburn are doing this behind closed doors and we are not. Absolute disaster.
