....valid information other than internet speculation started by clickbait sites?

I simply want a reliable source of info. I as of yet ....have seen nothing.

PSU is floating a trial balloon right now to guage Booster and Fan reaction. You notice their local media is now putting a positive spin on hiring Drink whereas 2 weeks ago it was pretty negative. They don't want a Stoops/A&M situation. They also leaked that Golesh was interviewed.

What concerns me is Drink won't shut it down, take an small extension with a punishing buyout and end the speculation. Also boosters/donors can't get a plan on poaching a new OC for 2026. Do you need 2 million, 2.5, 3?

Maybe he's just focused and accidentally giving off the wrong vibe. But donors are ready to give him what he needs to fix the offense if he stays.

This is the first time he’s had some heat from Mizzou fans while having big time options. The fact he hasn’t shutdown rumors says he’s considering all options. Possibly working for leverage at Mizzou but more likely looking at how he can reset the clock somewhere else. If he stays at Mizzou, that’s a bold statement and believes he can correct some of his shortcomings.

The first report was by a PSU grad that worked for Fox sports radio. How is that click bait?

Drink needs to seriously consider other opportunities. If things don't turn around next year, with the fanbase already turning against him, next year we will be demanding his head. He can go sign a long term deal at PSU for same or more guaranteed $$ and get a few more years in the 8 figure club.

IMO he is thinking ahead and gone.

I don't think people are turning on him. Donors actually want to give him what he needs to grab a P4 OC. I think people are pissed about the total lack of offense since SEC play but they know that's Moore.

The only information I’ve got is that “Penn State is making a play for drink.”

Keep in mind they’ve struck out twice already and kind of publicly.

I think it gets announced Monday, after last home game.

Resetting his coaching timetable (3 moar years) makes sense and the ridiculous amount PSU is probably offering is too tempting ...

I hope we're already in the mix and bag for any of these up and comers:

- Dillingham
- Sumrall
- Silverfield
- Morris
- Golesh
- Lashlee

But wouldn't be surprised if we get Franklin ...

There was also a report that he let the team know he's leaving yesterday I think. I have no idea if that's true.

Someone putting their face/name on it and providing what they said they were is not clickbait. Someone hiding who they are, who the source is and/or providing info that doesn't match the subject/headline is click bait.

I think their fan base would take Daboll over Drink. Won an NC as a coordinator with Saban, developed Josh Allen...

I highly doubt that.

As soon as it’s announced to the team, it would be basically public. A secret is something you tell one other person. If you tell 100 young men, it will be public within 30 minutes. Assuming that it takes 30 minutes to get cell service.

Agreed. It’s more “sellable” IMO to a fan base like PSU than Drinkwitz. Imma check out some PSU boards.

Daboll is a problem...

No NIL experience and PSU trying to modernize and catch OSU in NIL.

No portal experience

No recruiting

Couldn't develop Daniel Jones and his offense got progressively worse year after year.

1 season of CFB almost 10 years ago.

Replacing a fired coach with another fired coach.
