Why the hell not?
Nobody likes us anyway.
The guy is also elite. He made Vandy the best team in Tennessee and brought PSU back from the dead. Getting fired might be his best motivation yet.
I don’t care about the big game record. Let us beat Arkansas and our fellow B12 transfers on the regular and I’m fine.
Drink can give us one last victory by putting an extra $25 million in our pockets. There isn’t a more honorable exit.

I want Drink to stay. And I think all Mizzou fans rooting for him to leave should reconsider their position.

But, if Drink left, I agree that Franklin would be a phenomenal hire for Mizzou. It's crazy to me that Penn State fired him a year after he took their sorry asses to the Playoffs. He's a great coach and will rebound well somewhere.

That’s my point. I don’t want him to leave but it’s not the end of the world. There are some scenarios that could actually end up positive.

That's way too sensible a post for the Rant.

Not a bad take. He’s a good coach - and having him pissed off with something to prove would be a good hire over someone that’s looking for retirement money.

I like Mizzou. Y'all gave the East the business after joining the conference with A&M.

Horse feathers. Missouri will hire the current JMU head coach, get laughed at, and then not miss a beat. Even Barry Odom was a good hire, just not an elite one. Y'all have some weird voodoo magic on coaching hires for football.

He had a better team than Derek Dooley.

Grossly underrating the incredible job Bill O'Brien did in 2012 and 2013 to keep that program from falling off the face of the earth. It's only because of O'Brien that Penn State was never among the dead.

Better deal is keeping Drink and hiring that pos Petrino to run the offense. the defense is damn good and has been for awhile the offense has held them back the last 3-4 years.

Is Drink more of an offensive mind, defensive mind, or just a CEO type?
