Could a 9-3 Texas get in the playoff?

With the way the ACC and Big 12 are looking it might be possible.
Texas will have beaten Georgia or A&M to finish 9-3. The fact they played Ohio State instead of a patsy OOC should mean something.
ACC should be getting 1 team
Big 12 should be 1 team
Notre Dame
G5
That leaves 8 teams for Big Ten and SEC
Ohio State
Indiana
Oregon
Need USC to lose to Oregon leaving only 3 from Big Ten
Alabama
Georgia
A&M
Ole Miss
Need Vandy to lose to Tennessee
Need Oklahoma to lose to Alabama

No. Only ND has that card.

9-3
That means they have to win 2 of their next 3
Not sure that is possible

Perhaps but a 7-5 Texas won't get in.

a 9-3 Texas is 100% in. Disney will see to that. ESPN is already laying the "we don't want to punish schools for scheduling big games" ground work.

If they are close, yes. Would be funny if it came down to Texas or ND. Two assclown fanbases.

Either a 9 - 3 Texass or a 9 - 3 Oklahoma could get in, but not both.
If both finish 9 - 3, Texass has the upper hand due to head-to-head.
9 - 3 for either is a long shot, though, especially since it appears Notre Dame will win out.
I think if Oklahoma runs the table, which includes beating Bama on Saturday, we're in.

They will be best 7-5 team in the country regardless if a MLB from Tech beats Arch for the Heisman

They’re going to give B1G 4 spots. Regardless of SOS.

ACC doesn’t deserve a team imo. That conference has become a g5 conference

Can't see it. 3 is the ceiling unless Mich beats OSU then maybe a chance

Don’t deserve it. Perfect example of too many teams getting into playoffs and playing for a championship. Might as well let 64 in.

Maybe. I didn’t realize they were ranked as high as they were. Don’t have to make up a ton of room

I don’t see any SEC team getting in with 3 losses unless you’re named Bama or UGA.
UGA could lose to TX and Ga Tech and people will still be trying to get them in.
Bama could lose to OU and Auburn, and the same thing will happen.

Would need a lot of help. They’re already outside looking in with 2 losses

When that happens, they should print them shirts.
