Other than that obvious facemask where the dirty gump tried to cripple Nussmeier? Several questionable reviews as well.

Call your sponsor Maxipad and have them investigate it.

Exactly one. And the flag for the facemask was reluctaintly thrown about 10 minutes after the foul occurred.

The refs had their hands full watching LSU’s dirty play

quote:I don't keep up with that like LSU fans but I went to bed in the 4th quarter when in consecutive plays there was a review, review, illegal procedure LSU, review, illegal procedure LSU. I'm serious those were consecutive. I do not tune in and deal with the damn Disney stuff to watch referees more than I watch actually football plays. Four hour football games where there we have 60 minutes of football and the other 3 hours are commercials and referees. OK - I'm done with my rant.

Excuse the delay, the referee’s arm was cramping up from having to throw his flag at all the false start penalties by LSU.

The worst sequence was when they totally derailed our first drive after MVB came in. Replay followed by replay followed by replay. I’d like to hear from anyone that’s ever seen a ref initiated review of a QB slide to take away a first down.
No different outcome, but the seedy side of SEC officiating was exposed. Even the Bama homer in the booth (that somehow keeps being assigned to broadcast their games) made note of the disparity.

Like the phantom false start they threw, when they realized they couldn’t get LSU for having too many players on the field? Shut up and put your dress back on, Sally.

Bama was averaging over seven penalties a game before last night.
I think there’s a line between cheating refs and swallowing the whistle. We know the latter happens all the time in other sports and in some situations in football. In NCAA MBB it was the “Duke treatment”
Why are we so sure that something similar doesn’t exist in football?
I think Bama was a better team and LSU earned the penalties they were flagged for and had some unlucky close reviews.
It’s also easy to notice that Bama calls weren’t reviewed, an obvious late hit was ignored, even the announcer thought they were giving “disconcerting signals” and Bama had their least penalized game last night.

You could tell from the start of the game the fix was in. I didn’t watch the second half.

What a punk. The unintentional face mask was called. Every review verified the correct call was made in the field. LSU players are an undisciplined bunch that has carried out over their entire season but now all the sudden it’s because of the refs. Y’all are a very soft bunch.

Well I know for s fact the refs missed a blatant holding call against Hubbard on the the long berry run that resulted in three points for LSU . They missed a pi against brooks also on a long throw in the third quarter. The late hit should have been called on bama on LSU'S first drive , but they got points anyway so it wasn't a negative result.
The slide by their QB was correct call , he just should have went head first instead of feet first because they changed that rule and it has been called that way for a couple years now.
All in all it was mostly a decently called game , most corn dogs are going to complain because that's what they do , it's in their DNA to blame anyone but their own team.

Louisiana State needs to play better football. The refs were just making sure they got the calls right.

No but we weren’t doing all the retarded shite L20U was either like 7 or 8 pre snap and delay penalties either

They had one in the first half. Bama has been much better in the second half of the season on penalties.
